let's play
hanse is younger than your average halfie, but that doesn't mean he's any more innocent or less experienced. his mother was a prostitue, a miserable ing who hated her unwanted bastard of a son that was forced into her. she hated him even moreso once his less human traits started appearing, and found that her two favorite things were heroin and beating the out of her bastard. sometimes for some extra spice she'd mix the two; getting money for drugs by selling him off for the night and beating him after for good measure. once the hag croaked he took her place in "the company," though she was nothing more than a petty up until her birth while he exceeded her. he didn't have to, but there was no reason to do it and no reason not to. that's his philosophy for most things.
hanse likes whatever will make him feel not bored. he's snarky and nothing really gets to him-- at least, nothing anyone knows about. if you asked him his 3 favorite things he'd say setting fires, , and playing mind games. if you make it clear you don't like him he'll be all the more determined to with you. he doesn't want power, just entertainment. something other than the gaping maw of darkness swirling behind his eyes.
