people with the ability to see souls will be aware, ranged attacks, drugs are fatal to him since his body functions like a wolf's, he's just morphed into the human form, high frequency sounds ㅡ he is able to hear frequencies in a higher pitch which can cause great headaches.

born to a young family, sunwoo was an only child to two very, very overwhelmed, unexperienced individuals. in fact, he would get asked whether his mom was his sister, and so on at times. if you think having older parents and being asked whether your mom is your grandma is bad, try imagining your mom being perceived as your older sister.

sunwoo grew up happy and healthy, for the most part at least. since he was small, he was told to hide his quirk from any- and everyone at all cost. when he asked for an explanation and learned that humans were threatened by the existence of otherkin, especially wolves, he was deeply saddened - he actually took great pride in being a wolf ever since he could think.

he didn't want to be seen as a monster. so one day, he decided that he wanted to make a difference - he wanted to ensure that his children would never read a book in which the wolf was portrayed as the villain, the enemy again. when he heard about the academy, he trained towards his dream to become a superhero. simply to make the world see that he wasn't a reckless monster, that wolves weren't the brutal villains they were always made out to be.

focusing on making his dream come true had cost him quite a bunch of things - his hobbies, which included basketball and swimming, his friends, since he'd spend a lot of time training, and also his grades since studying didn't matter to him that much anymore.

sunwoo trained with his father who hoped that if he taught him how to use his skill well, he would find his peace of mind one day and not be as desperate for other people's validation and approval anymore - frankly, he was convinced he didn't have the slightest hint of a chance to enter new heroes academy. but, to his shock, he was accepted - and ever since sunwoo left home to study and train towards becoming a hero, their contact broke off. he thinks that with him leaving, his parents have gotten rid of one of their countless, maybe even their biggest burden - who also was their most precious treasure.

he was somewhat of a troublemaker kid. talked back, knew exactly how to hit the wrong nerves at the worst times and still get things his way, knew how to sneak out at night without anyone noticing. or, as he likes to describe it: "i raised my parents well."
