Section oo1 : history / about

wang yibo was considered a blessed child. in his lineage, all omega were considered a gift from the great wolf themself. unlike his older alpha brother, someone who he remembers shutting him out and ignoring him at every chance he had. so when he presented it was  a miracle

as a chlid he was taught that, as an omega, he was not suppose to be loud. do not slouch. do not speak out of term. do not cut your hair above your shoulders. above all else, do not be alone with an unapproved alpha.

at the age of 16, he met his betrothed. as in he was in an arranged marriage with never being told. the alpha was polite, uninterested in him as a whole, and distant. not someone he would have picked for himself, that's for sure.

when yibo turned 18, his wedding was quickly planned, and he was told what he had to do. so he took it upon himself to make a decision for his own life.

he ran away.

yibo left behind all that he knew; a best friend, a distant brother, and parents that wanted the best for him. yet... it was all so stiffling and scary. he never had a choice for himself.

the young omega took the couple hundred he stashed away and a backpack full of things he deemed important. then he ran. never looking back

for a year after that; he was swindled, attacked, and mugged. it was a miracle that he wasn't . all because he never trusted his instincts properly.

the last time that he was attacked for not listening to some stranger was the time he was taken to the mansion. yibo awoke with bandages and scars littering his body. a dirty bag beside his infirmary bed. for a couple  weeks he kept to himself before he met liu haikuan; who reminded him of his older brother if his own blood wasn't so... cold.

now he starts his new life in the mansion.

ex-betrothed

Yibo never thought he would see his ex-betrothed ever again. He assumed if he did than that meant he was back with his family. Good intentions don't always mean good actions after all. 

Why would this alpha want to talk to again anyway? Always so cold and aloof to him since the first moment they met. At least yibo can say that he tried to get to know the other. The omega wasn't always planning to leave... he thought that if his arranged alpha was kind and warm, something he never truly experienced in the way that he needed, then it wouldn't be a bad life. The alpha didn't even need to fall in love with him!

So why try to be in his life now? Couldn't they just ignore his existence? Were they going to return him to his family?

Going through heats alone is awful. Yibo has been doing for years and it has always been miserable. Even if he's cranky, bossy, and moody he didn't enjoy being isolated or alone.

He fussed, nested, and cuddled more than any other omega he's ever met. Even more than his childhood best friend.

This arrangement he's agreed to is hopefully for the best. As well, hopefully that his bed warmer doesn't get sick of his ticks and quirks. Which are only more obvious and all around obvious around his heat.

Growing up yibo was allowed one friend from a trusted family. Someone who was worthy in his parents eyes. Someone who wouldn't soil their blessed chilD.

The thing is; their friend never presented when they did. So they didn't know what the future held. Maybe his best friend wasn't actually a wolf. The unlucky one to only be human.

Throughout the years, yibo had acts of defiance. Always more quiet than most omegas in his situation. His first kiss being his best friend. First real make out session was him as well. Breaking curfew, convincing him to sneak out, or sneak snacks. Yibo always being the one to drag him on adventures.

The only thing yibo has regretted was leaving him behind. Leaving him unprotected.
