Liu haikuan was born an only child to very absent parents. You would think that his parents would be worried about him considering they were werewolves. it seemed to him that they loved eachother so much, there was no more room in their hearts for him.

at the age of 14 he was accepting that he was beta; that was before he presented. which not only shocked him but his parents as well. Their child was an alpha? amazing! yet... their boy was so gentle, so quiet as well. haikuan's scent blossomed to the strong, calming smell of jasmine and the undertones of fresh cut grass, and sicilian mandarin oranges.

at the age of 16, he's shipped off to his grandparents, much to his dismay. when the humans start turning on them it's his grandma who tells him about the mansion. she always thought it was folklore. they soon get news that his parents are missing. then his town is attacked and his grandpa is the one telling him to run before the humans find them. it's the last time he sees them.

for years after, he moves from town to town and decides he'll find the mansion in the forest. even if it kills him. at age 24, he's unmated, a bit jumpy, but extremely kind. still speaks gently and stills has the same hobbies. this is also the time he met wang yibo; who he considers a younger brother.

 

haikuan is soft spoken, rarely raising his voice. you can find him reading, painting, or playing the piano. he's probably kind to a fault and helpful as well. haikuan gets much pleasure from helping others or making them feel comfortable.  yet that doesn't mean he isn't stubborn as well. only to what matters... health and safety. he's gotten into a few fights protecting others, which has led him to a few scars. physically and emotionall.

he's confident in himself, even though he feels like he hasn't earned it. something that is his biggest flaw is that he can be possessive. maybe that's where the alpha part kicks in.
