dohyun is a mama's boy, a papa's boy, his family's youngest -- anything that pertains to him still living in his parents' home at 27 years old. anything. you name it.

born under the aries sun on a fine spring day, dohyun was the unexpected addition to the family, one who everyone was very happy to have. after all, his parents were nearing their mid-40s, and already had three other children before him. on top of that, his older brother was already 12 years old when he was born. him being born in such circumstances allowed him to grow pampered, receiving love in all corners of the house.

at 6, he's had his first nephew. oddly enough, his birth did not take away the attention from dohyun. the boy continued to receive equal amounts of care that his family gave the other boy. what his nephew ate; dohyun's been fed the same. what his nephew had, he also got.

however, the situation can not be deemed similar to his when reversed.

hence, one could say that he's been raised loosely, always spoiled with gifts and love. his parents have never had much expectations from him except that he'd grow into a loving boy, a boy full of happiness to spare. which is...exactly what happened.

dohyun was carefree with life. he never had a direction. he brezzed through primary and secondary school without caring for his grades. luckily, he's smart enough to pass his exams -- or cute enough to get on his student teachers' good side.

at 19, he's been sent to college. his parents still had not much expectation for him and his mother had actually asked him to stay at home -- much to his siblings protests. hence, dohyun, still laid back as ever, tried to go through college life unscathed.

but he failed.

understandably, a boy raised as loosely as he was would be so fickle. he jumped from one major to another, spending only a good a year (or 2 if he liked it enough) of schooling, just enough for him to understand the basics. he's dabbled into photography, film making, economics, marketing, theater arts, biology (though he's only spent half a semester and then yeeted), computer engineering, digital arts -- among others. if he could only use these unfinished courses for his credentials then applying for a job would be easier, he thought.

that wasn't the case, however. especially when he's left school to do odd jobs while he's undecided on what path to really take in life. it seemed, though, that his being fickle could be applicable to the same circumstances. dohyun's gone through several convenience stores, coffee shops, restaurants, start-up companies, and what-else just to work. his leaving from each of these weren't because he was lazy. he simply got too tired of the repetitive hustle and bustle. belatedly, he realized that he needed a field wherein he could be creative and challenged -- a job wherein he would not be subjected to the same routine at a daily.

it was only when he had been asked to edit a video for a gig that has him thinking, "hey, why don't i do this just for fun?" around the same time, vlogging had become a thing around aerok. dohyun, after uploading that said video, had taken his own camera that lay about untouched in his room, ventured out into the beach, and made a quiet video of him walking his dog and having fun.

suprisingly, that gave him a few thousands of hits on ig and rlbmut alike and a few comments of him to do more things with his corgi, ares.

it was how his blurbs and accounts kickstarted into fame online.

at 25, dohyun became passionate about baking. at first, it was only for clout. one of his followers had asked him to do it live and he did -- as fanservice. at the end of the video, he was commended for how clean he worked and his mother had told him that his banana cake tasted fairly nice for a beginner.

his mother's words and his satisfaction after baking has led him to enroll himself in culinary schoool by the end of the week. he, then, began to dream of becoming a world-class patissier and a michelin star chef.

but first, he hopes that his fickleness would not get in the way this time.

dohyun is a sweet guy, first and foremost. he's childish, carefree and laid back. though he's gained a following online, he remains true to who he is even in his videos. what the people see, is what they get off-camera. after all, honesty has been one of the virtues inculcated to him by his parents.

due to his upbringing, dohyun may come off as whiny and annoying, easily attached, and inconsiderate. he needs to be told off alot of times to lay low with his words for sometimes they sound scathing when he doesn't really mean them.

work wise, he's easily distracted and easily gets tired of doing things repetitively. oddly enough, he's organized when he's focused - especially in cooking or baking. usually, he'd have his ingredients  or materials aligned and ready by the time he decides to shoot or when he's simply concocting new things in the kitchen.
