17 years ago, Sooyoung was just seven when she witnessed how horrible her father can be, he became a drunkard after he bet all their life savings for his gambling habit. His father used to beat her mother for scolding at him and his bad habits. Her mother used to hide her behind the floor board to avoid her getting beat up like her but it didn't work. They were both beaten by their father and her mother was too afraid to get help.
Until she was turned 9 years old, her uncle found out that they were abused by him and took the two female back into their mansion. Sooyoung didn't knew that her mother's family were noble oneSfeom the noble bloodline of Park sabaek who supported the house of Gaya. Her mother told her why she chose to be with someone who gambles all of his life and it is because of love. She loved her father with all her heart before they go down to this. Sooyoung learned that love messes your decisions, choosing a selfish decisions led to a horrible consequences and that is the first one. At the age of 15, her mother died due to Leukemia. Her mother's last words made Sooyoung not to do anything with love.
"I was wrong, All i ever wanted had turned into ruins. Please don't go in the same way as I do, Sooyoung. Please..."
those words engraved into her mind, love is a suffering in disguise. That is what happened to her mother and her father, love ruined her family. She will never do the same as her mother did, she will aim higher and follow what her uncle told her. She was taught by her uncle to control her emotions and never be controlled by it.
One time, her reputation was made when a group of bullies made fun of her classmate and close friend and in rage, she starts to beat them up but much worst than they did to her classmates. She smashed one bully's head against the mirror in their restroom and almost died, Sooyoung did it because of anger which she rarely shows it to anyone. Her uncle is disappointed with her but eventually gave her another chance to prove it to her that she will be a rightful dame in Gaya's household.
In her college, it is nothing much of being a college girl with a limited emotions. In this college life, she suppressed half of her emotions, yet she almost falls in love when she remembered everything what her uncle and her mother said. She cannot go through that way. Never.
but that could wait, her uncle decided to bring her to uae for her further training as a dame. She served in the military for 2 years before she goes back to aerok to hone more of her skills as a dame. During those 2 years, she learned to speak english and arabic as a part of her training as a dame.
at the age of 24, Sooyoung finally reached her goal to be a dame proved her uncle she can manage to control her very emotions and keept it intact. Although her classmates and batchmates will never forget how Sooyoung is cruel and ruthless when they try to test her patience towards her. Since she has some traits of her father, she had a gambling habit but she is master of it, often losing but she can back it up.
Sooyoung is apathetic, emotionless and hard to impress. Love is a sensitive topic when it comes to her, she disgust it. When people tests her patience, be prepared as she won't stop beating you up until you're unconscious or dead.
