Hyojin was a quiet and timid girl growing up, though she yearned to be more adventurous. The things she saw other girls her age doing either at school or on the television made her hate her bashful nature, and her strict, conservative parents. In high school, her friends would urge her to sneak out of her house and come with them to parties, concerts, or just to hang out. Hyojin always refused, out of fear of disappointing her parents and breaking the rules they've set for her. 

over and over, she stood by and watched others have fun, each opportunity wasted because of her shyness. That was, of course, until she met him. As if it were 100 years ago now, she can't seem to recall his name, only the way his eyes sparkled with devious intent, and how tightly he held her hand. It was quite easy to see that the girl fell hard for him; she'd never been in love before, she knew this must be it, and he must be the man she was meant to spend forever with. If only she'd known better.

After being the perfect daughter all her life, following her parents' every law, Hyojin was prompted with an opportunity to sneak out of her home and meet her sweetheart by the lake on the edge of town for a night of romance. It would be her first time, and she was nervous, but she crept out into the silent night without so much as waking her father in the armchair.

When she arrived at the clearing by the lake, she waited and waited for her soon to be lover to arrive, her heart racing in anticipation of sharing something so intimate. When she heard a rustling in the bushes, it wasn't him, but a monstrous figure that stood ten feet tall with razor sharp claws and blood-coated fangs. 

Since being turned, Hyojin has discovered a whole new world outside of her bubble. It was as if her personality switch was flipped, and in an instant, she was the wild party girl she is today. Though still mildly cautious of vampires (particularly Death Dealers) per her Alpha's instructions, she continues to leave the full moon district and visit night clubs, meeting humans to party and play with, before returning safe and sound. 

Although she can be seemingly untamable at times, she is fiercely loyal to the pack and their laws.
