Alexa Demie was born in the 4th century as Alexia Borgia to the very wealthy and religious Borgia family of Madrid, Spain. The Borgia family were very powerful and underneath their holier-than-thou façade, they had more underworld dealings than saintly dealings. Alexia was a happy child, and had a nice childhood. She remembers taking trips with the family to visit the pope across the sea in Italy. As she got older, many a man tried to court her and failed at doing so. None of them succeeded in winning the young woman's heart because she liked her freedom, she liked having not just one man at night... but several. Her father was soon being talked about in town and rumors were going around that he was incapable of marrying his daughter off because she was a harlot. This was true, but to prove the gossipers wrong her father put his foot down and married his daughter off to the bastard Duke of Bisceglie in Italy which made Alexia the Duchess of Bisceglie by marriage. Alexia knew she had no choice, so she married him. He was handsome, a kind man and a fighter, he had a fiery passionate side to him that intrigued Alexia, and luckily for the both of them when they saw each other for the first time in Italy the day before their wedding day neither of them could get the other's face out of their mind. It was love at first sight. They got married in the Vatican on the 21st of July, in the year 460. On their wedding night in their marriage bed, Alexia still remembers what happened, the bedroom was dark and she couldn't see his face. He started speaking to her before their consummation. "You know I am a bastard, but do you know why?" She shook her head. "I am a bastard because I am not of your kind. I eat food and I get sick, I see people bleed and I wish to taste their blood. I am a creature... a creature who is now your husband about to take you... a fallen woman on his wedding night. I have known nothing but pain... and you will be the one to release me. Let our bodies be one tonight, but afterwards promise me... you will flee Italy and board a ship to a different world across the sea. Promise me, Alexia... promise me..." He pulled her close and kissed her before kissing her neck... she gasped as he sank his fangs into her neck before he got up and left the room. He came back a few minutes later with some wine before they continued their night of fatal passion. Alfonso was a wonderful lover and Alexa would have loved to see what else he could've done to please her in bed during the course of their marriage, but that would never come to fruition, because she left him that night. Little did Alexia know was that her life would be changed forever.
Alexia Borgia changed her name when she had finally made it to the new world. She became a nurse when she came to the new world in order to eliminate any suspicion that she was a vampire. Alexa now owns several jewelry stores since she's always loved jewelry. It is also worth noting that Alexia Borgia is not in any history books because her father had made sure to eliminate all records of her existence after she disgraced the family by being promiscuous and leaving her husband behind. Alexia was turned under seemingly mysterious circumstances but she didn't figure out if someone else had turned her or if her husband had turned her until much later. She had finally figured it out after all these years after she dug through history books and saw that Alfonso had been wounded in a duel shortly after she left him and was close to death before supposedly being kidnapped by a mysterious figure. Her husband's body had never been found. If he truly had been close to death from being wounded in a duel, then that meant that someone else had indeed bitten her. The answer came to her in a dream and she found out that the first vampire to walk the Earth had posed as Alfonso and had bitten her on her wedding night before the real Alfonso stumbled into the bedroom with a bottle of wine. Alexa felt horrible afterwards, she had been tricked and deceived. She had left her husband behind centuries ago for no reason, and now she hadn't the slightest clue if her husband had lived or died though she assumes that he's dead since he had lived centuries ago... or is he?

Daring, dangerous and rebellious are just a few words to describe Alexa. She's a beautiful vampire and she knows it, so she uses her beauty to her advantage so she can manipulate her prey. Alexa sees humans as her playthings, lycans as lowly uncivilized dogs, and vampires as the superior and smarter beings that she admires and respects so much. Alexa is very much a ual being but she doesn't rely solely on her body and good looks to get her places, she uses her brain as well. Alexa also likes to have fun and enjoys partying.
Being the fifth elder of the coven, Alexa is very clear and sound on her opinions and what she also thinks is important for the coven and the vampire race. She respects her fellow elders and listens to them and their opinions just like they listen to hers.
