happiness and comfort is all lalisa manoban has ever known ever since being brought into the world as the eldest daughter of the manobans. older sibling of four younger children, the woman has always adored her family with utmost affection. her parents have always nurtured her, never having had to raise a single finger against her. and thus she reciprocated their ways, promising to support the family and uphold her responsibilities as the eldest daughter until her time fades to dust—an unfortunate end to the endearing family she only wished to push herself further for.
what is more unfortunate is how short her time with her loved ones would last.
in the blink of an eye, a family vacation trip to korea turned into mass hysteria and the outbreak of a disease claiming to transform humans into ravenous creatures craving for flesh. the rumors weren’t wrong.
she was so weak. how could she have let the beasts get to her family? one moment they were all spending time with one another and the next, lalisa was sitting before the remains of her loved ones. damned flesh-craving beasts. why couldn’t they have taken her life as well, rather than letting her live with her misery?
it’ll only bring the girl more distress when she learns that she was the one who ended her family after losing control of herself. but with no recollection to guide these events, the woman lives clueless of her status as an infected, and is led astray by the thought that another had gotten to her family. how unfortunate.
