Despite being a Slytherin, Liandro took on some quirks of his family, for example, becoming overly excited when discovering something new. Other things include: direct eye contact while speaking and tapping his fingers or his foot when feeling antsy.

smart, ambitious, loyal and strangely understanding. MInus his being understanding at times, he has the typical character traits of a worthy slytherin

 Sadistic and snippy. will say things to get under a person's skin, just for the fun of it.

beautiful scenery, reading, a nice cup of tea or coffee on a chilly day, dogs, cats, anything cuddly, intimacy. despite having a winter birthday, prefers autumn. if one wants him to brighten up and act like a kid, just mention dragons. honestly, any magical creature

people that can’t have an intellectual conversation, bullies (lol hypocrite), his birth name, most ravenclaws

singing in the shower (yes that's a hobby don't @ me), reading adventure novels, playing quidditch, reading about dragons

getting pummelled by the whomping willow

when not wearing typical wizarding robes: jeans and a t-shirt, sometimes a button down with a pair of gray slacks.

he may not look it, but he has a tendency of sneaking to the kitchens and watching the house-elves work. they seem so excited to be of service that it was interesting to watch..

The Kang family is one filled with Ravenclaw. They were brilliant and quirky, each of them having their own ticks. It was a loving and friendly family, although they did receive quite the side-eye at times, whether by muggle or their fellow wizard and witch peers.

Bin Kang was different from the rest of his family. Even as a child he was a bit too...normal, although it did not raise too much of a concern to his parents. He was bright, absolutely brilliant and absolutely hated being second in things. And as he got older, he had developed his own little quirks, the cutest was his strange obsession with dragons.

Little Bin would study them all day as a child and even talk to the muggles in his kindergarten class just what he had learned. It wasn’t until Bin was reaching the age of puberty that things did not seem to be right. His parents had only thought that his unruliness was due to the bullying that he was subject to for his name. For example, “trash can”. He was only ten years old when his parents allowed him to change his name to Liandro, a name he saw in a book and seemed to cling onto.

But even then, his hatred for muggles grew and it wasn’t until he started at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that it became all the more clear as to why he was this way. The sorting hat barely touched his head when it yelled out “SLYTHERIN”, much to the horror of his siblings. The Kang family, tarnished, the legacy of only Ravenclaws now ruined and in the worst way possible. How could he be part of the house of some of the darkest lords in the world? 

He put shame on his house-hold for being a Slytherin. Although, it was something that his family was not all that surprised about. Liandro was cunning, knew just how to ease his way into things, whether or not it was safe or benefitted the other person. He came off as calm and collected, even while angry in order to string others into his lies and deceit. He had always done things in ways that would earn him praise, yet never be caught. How silly of his family to not have noticed these traits of a Slytherin.  

Of course, such traits could be seen as those of a Ravenclaw, as one would do whatever they can to come on top. Ravenclaws certainly were ruthless when it came to their studies. However, Liandro did not need to make others fall to make him look better academically, it was not something that was much of a concern to him. His grades were of no concern to him. What was the point of cheating through school to make himself seem wiser? It would get him nowhere. 

What mattered was for him to become successful and powerful. To become the best at whatever he chose to do in life. 

 

Although Liandro has strong qualities of  a Ravenclaw, he had been placed in the Slytherin house due to his determination of becoming a more successful wizard. Of course, one may think that this means he will dabble in the dark arts and become something that he shouldn't merely because of his house, but Liandro has always dreamed of working with dragons. Thus, his academic ambitions have led him to focus on his being able to control of his spell-casting abilities. 

Also, despite his seemingly cold demeanor and his distrust for others, Liandro is very much willing to help others with their studies, as long as they ask. Although, with being a Slytherin and possibly being able to "switch to the dark side" he doesn't get many takers. Little do others know, his wand is not one that would be able to produce such dark magics, but the wand that chose him was not something he openly discussed. 


 

Liandro has four sisters, three of whom are older.  

Junhee was the eldest, being four years older than him, and having already graduated from the University.  

Hana was the next one at three years older than Lian. She is merely finishing her last year, though, many do not associate them as siblings.

Hyejin was only a year older than Liandro and, before he had been placed in the Slytherin house, she was the closest to him.

Lastly is the youngest, Sooyun was a grand total of nearly twelve years Liandro’s younger. After he was claimed as a Slytherin, his parents decided that he was not to be the end of their line, causing them to look foolish with his being in a “dark house”. Sooyun was born in July, just after his first year of Hogwarts.

At first, Lian resented his younger sibling, hating that she “stole his place”. But soon, he grew to be over-protective of her. Sooyun did not represent the qualities of a Ravenclaw, she was smart, but not entirely so. She was not competitive nor did she see a need to turn his back to her older brother. If anything, she clung close to him when he was home and sat with him so that he would read to her. Sooyun was to be the pride and joy of the family, fixing the mistake that Liandro had made. However, with Sooyun turning eleven this year, she is to attend Hogwarts.

And wouldn’t you know, she was a Hufflepuff. The day that she was placed into the house, he couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, that is until their mother wrote to him in anger over it. He wanted her to be anything but a Ravenclaw, out of spite. But also, not a Slytherin due to the reputation of the house. Hufflepuff...it fit her kind heart greatly.

One would think that it was obvious that all of the Kang children were related. They all very much resembled one another, the youngest of the three looking most like their father, while the elder girls looked most of their mother. However, they all had features that when put together, were very clear that they were family. Possibly it was due to their coldness towards one another and due to just how unfriendly Liandro was that people typically ignored that he too was a Kang.
