teddy didn't exactly grow up within a normal family, his parents divorced due to their differences and family conflicts. He never really knew his father since teddy was left with his mother whom wasn't the best of a parent to him, after a hard few years in primary school the poor boy found it hard to fit in since he was casted out by his mother's side of the family. teddy lived in London until he turned 16, that is when he decided to find a part time job after dropping out of school, aiming to move away from his snobby family. He began receiving letters from an unknown person claiming to be his father when he moved up north and found a little apartment to survive for a few years. teddy had surpassed many hardships and it was only recent when he began to finally accept his fate, he didn't have any help at all but several guidance from the letters he had received from his father. Using his family name, teddy applied for a place in Hogwarts knowing he will be starting late but despite that. He knew he would be surrounded by people who won't judge him for who he is and would fit right in.
