(I have no energy to fill out and write a giant background section that’s elaborate and beautiful, so here is a quick rundown of jennie. I’ll update it when I have the mental capacity.)

jennie is a woman born into rather nice fortune and fed with literal silver spoons from birth. while she isn't a spoiled brat, she does know her worth and views herself as a person who should be treated with respect and higher status, as her family has worked hard to be where they are in life. She herself was in the midst of being trained by her mother to inherit the skincare company she created back in the day, a company and brand that jennie alone is the heir to. With no siblings for competition and no other skincare brands that were able to perform like theirs, jennie foresaw herself as being able to live in luxury as fruition of her labors.... unfortunately for her things quickly went awry. 

the family was on a trip to seoul, having come for a business meeting all the way from their home located in auckland, new zealand. while they were korean natives, they had relocated to the country due to a higher prospect of sales. While unboarding their long flight, jennie noticed she wasn't feeling so well. pale, shaky, and head spinning, her and her mother decided to take her to the emergency nearby to have her symptoms checked out. it was while stuck in their luxury car that jennie had her first taste of human flesh. she lost herself completely, almost seeming to black out partway through. when she came to, the car was veered into a ditch on the side of the road, her mother, and the driver dead and decimated inside. 

horrified and disgusted intirely by her actions, jennie hid their remains and drove back into seoul. lo and behold-- the city wasn't faring much better. by the time she reached her destination she was surrounded by people acting like she had, frantic as they ate the flesh and skin of others caught. she wanted so badly to deny what she was seeing, or the fact she had just partook in the same activity a mere 2 hours previous-- but the bloodstains on her clothing, the way the flesh and blood surrounding her smelt so delightful, and how each infected person seemed to pass her by without a second thought... brought her into a painful new reality. she, was a monster-- and nothing would ever be the same.
