01. Larissa grew up in an unconventional household: a missing father, an absent mother, and a witch for a great grandmother (though she didn't know that until then). She lived the most normal life in the coasts of Brazil, tucked away from the city and wandering around the sands and seas as her mother was always away from home. There was no magic or anything in her life until a letter of admission to a magical school arrived for her. She was puzzled at first, there was no such school within their area then her great grandmother entered the scene, telling her stories of her childhood filled with magic. Fascinated, she begged her mother to let her go but her mother always refused but she never told her why which infuriated her. By her rebellious nature and with the help of her great grandmother, she managed to escape her home and fly into a magical plane to Wales where a friend of her great grandmother would let her stay in the time being.

02. It was hard to fit in to Hogwarts during her first year; she only had less than a year to master English and her Brazilian accent was always being teased; she was constantly called 'mudblood' even though she didn't know what that meant but it felt like a sting in her chest. She hated every minute and every step in school. How in the world did she even get here? Her magical abilities are way beyond poor especially for a muggle-born compared to great ones like Granger and Potter. But deep down she knew this was her place, that magic was part of her blood. She knew that the secrets her mother tried to hide from her would come out, especially the story of her father. All she had to do was to keep the mysterious bracelet safe and to survive all of her years in the magical world.

03. Larissa was born free-spirited and bold. Always wandering around in hopes to discovering a new place. She never hesitates to defend people she doesn't know. She has always been labeled as dauntless with a strong sense of belief in the right thing. In the contrary, her venturesome disposition always gets her to trouble no matter where she goes. In terms of studies though, she's not so below an average witch but always strives to keep up and do her best just for the sake of passing.

tbc. mama, i wrote to you because i want you to know how are things going. well, it's quite hard fitting in here like you said. they all mocked my accent and my mistakes in class to the point i wanted to quit. but i didn't, i don't think you really want that i guess. so i worked hard to keep up with everyone, i made friends with my enemies to annoy them, all to prove them wrong. i'm still lagging behind my classes though because i have no idea what's going on, and well i spend most of my time wandering around the campus. emi's causing me a lot of trouble but i still love her and i'd chase her to the edges of world. did you know there was this thing called pumpkin juice and it was so weird i drink it everyday because that's the only thing there. there's a lot more i want to tell you but maybe i'll save those for the next letters if i have time. i want you to know i love you mama and i know if you didn't want me to go to hogwarts the first time it's because you wanted to protect me but i want to explore who i am my own way. i want to find out what happened to papa so that you will make peace with your past and we'll be happy again. write to you soon mama. love, larissa
