• quiet, but not by choice
• very insecure, possibly depressed
• wants to do his best and have a great life, but his lack of faith in himself paralyzes him
• every day he looks around himself and sees how different he is from how he wants to be, and it kills him
• he withdraws from reality every now and then, until he can motivate himself enough to open the doors once more
• very private person, won't let anyone into where he lives because it's a pigsty and he's ashamed of it
• the type of person who pretends everything is OK and hopes it is, until hits the fan and it really isn't

• family: omega mother, beta father, beta elder brother by 3 years, alpha younger brother by 9 years
• his parents were nomads, and he travelled with them, hopping from one pack to the next- they always stayed a couple years though; xiao zhan was three when he first left a pack, and eight when he left the second
• his third was a well-established pack with very specific rules and regulations, he lived there for 10 years; he went from a child to a young adult there and saw his parents and his siblings develop, and learned from them... that he couldn't be like them, he's not good at what they are good at, what one needs to be good at in this pack- so he left

• he crossed the ocean and came to this island, now working operating the ferries
• now his form of 'adventure' is bringing people from A to B and dreaming about where they might be going
• is on standby at the docks in case someone wants to go to mainland, but is considering running a smaller boat on the boats and rivers once he saves up enough money for it
