A brief letter on Valentine's Day isn't quite the same as a hand to hold, or a shoulder to lean on, or an ear to listen. It's something tangible though, something you can keep to look on if or when you should need to. I know that we haven't known each other personally that long, but it feels to me like we connected. It's like some of those burdens and those hardships are ones we share just because we are who we are.
