Training as a Dancer and Vocalist

Izumi was born to a korean mother and japanese father, and although she was raised in Japan she was taught Korean from a young age. She has studied singing and dancing since she could walk and speak, with her favourite dance styles being voguing and tutting as the levels of control always provided a 'fun' challenge for her, and at the age of 14 her mother brought her to South Korea, where she started applying to different entertainment companies before being finally accepted by Amplitude.

She's aware that in the current market, she's considered by most to be 'too short' to be an idol, and as such tries to overcompensate in terms of personality. She acts confident and vibrant around most, often being what people would describe as a tomboy, but at times she does slip into cutesy territory when she's close enough with people.

 

Fun Facts:
Draws and writes a lot in her free time, especially pictures of idols she admires.
Loves horror and sci-fi movies.
Has two older sisters and a younger brother. Her younger brother when to the same school that she did and has now moved to South Korea too.
