Background
disliking how his parents had every corner of his life figured out and how his older and smarter brother was the most loved "only child" in the family of 4, all his life leading up to his sophomore year of high school, he had always tried being accepted by his parents. he was the perfect honor student just like his parents expected of him. He didn't smoke, he didn't curse, he went to church every sunday with his family, he didn't date or dare to flirt with any girl. he did everything to make his parents proud of him. but to no avail. it was never enough.

that was when jungkook started rebelling in small amounts. despite getting perfect scores in every test and being 1st rank in his class even in high school, jungkook was in a never ending emo phase. he would listen to music with bad words. linkin park soothed his emo heart. he would wonder what weed and was like. the cool kids were doing it; it can't be that bad. he started to doubt the god he knew. but he never dared to rebel past a few curse songs, some tame mainstream anime and video games.

one night, though, when his father came back from an overseas trip and was fighting with his mother, jungkook was yet again in the cross fire of the fight being scolded for playing too many video games and not focusing on his studies and how it'll rot his brain if he keeps it up. After being beat, he went upstairs to his room and finally thought enough was enough. He needed to escape this world; he needed to take his life. of course, he ended up too scared to and instead rebelled in a small way by buying one of the games with a VR headset secretly with his parents’ credit card using his smart brain to not get caught. it was a game that was rated M for Mature themes, but he mostly bought it because it was so popular in his school; everyone was talking about it. he felt good.

eventually, he entered the game, not even aware he’s stuck in this world forever. Here he can be anything he wants to be. Live a life to the fullest. Which may or may not be bad.

Entering the game was rough for the previous state of jungkook. while being forced to complete errand after errand to prove his worth as a berserker in the hunter village,  he easily garnered the attention of the main female npcs there. even some unwaranted attention. But as he matured in both looks, personality and skills, he was able to complete the arc by defeating the goblin king for the village and progress outside finally.

still, his exit out of that village was too sudden. but you would never know that if you talked to him. jungkook would never let anyone know what happened in his first starting phases living and progressing in that berserker village with those female npcs or anyone really. all he'll tell is he's done with living life for anyone else other than himself anymore. he truly is going to do "whatever the he wants when he wants." it's not like being anything else more would ever work out anyways.

 after renouncing his life there, in the darkest of nights traveling alone and hungry, he met a group of outcasts doing the most questionable things you could imagine. he took one look at their acts, shrugged, and decided to join them for now. at least now he didn't have to fake being that goody-two shoes no more.

from then on, he traveled with and sometimes without that group, enjoying women, drugs and his life to the fullest.

Still, he thinks it'd be nice to meet a real player once- if there were any at all..
