I loved her not for the way she danced with my angels, but for the way the sound of her name could silence my demons.

Don't worry. You're not going to hear something like "once upon a time" or "in a galaxy far, far away" in this story. It's just a story, plain and simple.

Mom's passion was cooking so she made a career out of it. Dad's was...who the hell knows. He stuck around for mom's pregnancy and then dipped out the door. The end.

Mom opened up her restaurant Azure (her favorite color) with her best friend Yuri a year after I was born. You could think of it as a restaurant/bar/rock club. It's not one of your fancier exclusive clubs, if that's what you're thinking.

Mom ended up marrying Yuri when I was 7. Did I know they'd fallen for each other? Sure. Did I care? Not really. I mean, I had two moms. Big deal.

I got bullied in school like any other kid for not looking like everyone else, having two moms, and just not having a father figure.

I brushed it off as much as I could. It hurt, but it was what it was.

I started helping out at Azure as a server when I turned 15. I would work whenever I came home from school and used my tips to buy myself my first camera.

I would later learn that taking pictures helped express my thoughts and watching movies would help me stay calm and not let the world overwhelm me.

I applied at Saebom University my senior year for the film and photography program in hopes of using it to further express myself and my thoughts on the world. The end...or is it?

+ Now I can be found taking photos around campus or binging movies in my room. If I'm not found doing either, you can be sure to find me at my mom's restaurant either helping out or bullting with her. ♥
