brief background ; zacharius has lived in the city his entire life, and from an early age was taught to hide his status as a supernatural creature even after they had been revealed to the world. this is because his mother kept her status as a shapeshifter secret from his father, and to protect them from hunters. his father eventually found out that both zacharius and his mother were shapeshifters when zacharius was six, and promptly abandoned them, leaving the city entirely. for the next decade zacharius made his way through public school until around the age of 14-15 when his mother developed a magical illness that doesn't seem to have a cure. he dropped out of school to start taking up odd jobs to pay for her medical bills, and they live together now in a dilapidated apartment building on the edge of the more criminal district of the city. zacharius still keeps his supernatural status a secret to avoid the hunter sects or from being recruited into supernatural organizations (050521 update - hahA HOW DID THAT WORK OUT FOR YOU ZACH).
weapons choice ; zacharius has no skills in weapons usage. he tries to run from conflict usually, but if he had to fight he would just use whatever is avilable around him, and he would never aim to kill, only injure.

extra information ;
+ on the outside zacharius looks like any other human being. he doesn't have fangs, claws, wings, etc. unless he is in a state of half-shifted or full-shifted into an animal or imitation of another creature. the only time you can tell he's inhuman is during his transformations, when his eyes turn silver from their natural dark brown color.
+ while his full name is zacharius he generally goes by "zach" because it's quicker to say. (ooc note: i still can't decide whether to say "zacharius did not..." or "zach did not..." while writing so if i switch back and forth and it's confusing i'm sorry asdfkjs)
