brief background:
in her mortal life, jang miyo grew up with a lot of expectations being placed on her shoulders into being a successful archeologist. being the only woman in the company she's working in and the youngest, she has to endure a lot of mistreatment without her fighting back to keep her position. in an expedition to egypt, miyo decided to continue her work far into the night by herself whilst her co-worker went back to their camp. she excavated a few totems that she needed to identify further on their historical value. but she was ambushed by robbers, who violated her and left her bleeding on the ground with only the totems left behind. one of the totem belongs to bastet, who overlooked what had happened to miyo. pitying her and admiring how she protected the totems with her life, bastet granted her another 9 chance in life. her body was never found and jang miyo was pronounced dead after 3 months of search. now she is felicia schrodinger, living her life how she wants it in the city of dreams
since she moved into the city of dreams, felicia has been working as a hired thief. she only does her own work at first before being recruited for middle-paying jobs with other people then eventually being hired by high rollers to do some illegal thieving for much better pay. at the time, vos stole drugs and weaponry from a big company, so they hired felicia in secret to steal it back, keeping their hands clean off the case. and she succeeded and even got it back to the owner, however, akaedi caught up to her and kidnapped her. instead of killing her however he was impressed by her prowess and decided to recruit her to vos. akaedi gave her some time to think about it. the next day at his flower shop, he received a shipment of the drugs and weaponry that they have previously stolen, which felicia stole again from the owner, pledging her allegiance to vos
