background
Growing up in the countryside town, Hoseok had a normal childhood for the most part. he was your typical middle class country guy born from a well-off family. He went to church but also played around with his friends. he was the life of the party.
things started to change during his 2nd year of high school. hoseok got his first girlfriend and treated her like the best friend and boyfriend he could ever be. but one night during hoseok's senior year, when hoseok arrived a little earlier from the dance club to surprise her, to his dismay, hoseok caught her with another guy. He was very handsome unlike hoseok. hoseok was distraught from not being told and the next day he brought up the situation to her. she was honest and told hoseok they should break up because she liked the other guy more. from that day onwards, hoseok realized something. no matter how good of a boyfriend he could be, if he didn't have the looks, he'd never be anyone's 1st choice.
even if he never had the same feelings as she did, it hurt just being betrayed by his best friend. but hoseok pushed that memory as far as he could. so By the time he got accepted into the town's private christian university through his father's money, hoseok decided that love was just not for someone like him. he slept through his tuition in the morning and partied the rest of his life at night, even being close friends with a lot of the fraternity students. yes, even learning he was into guys through all the wild parties where he'd end up bedding and even sometimes dating them on the down low.
Eventually, all that partying got him into a lot of trouble, both academy and physical. Not that he cared much about his grades anymore; he was going to have to quit school early either way to take over his father’s role as the new principal/CEO of the Dance Academy.
so this pattern continued until eventually hoseok was numb to , came to terms with his true uality, at least passed his junior year with a c, and left the university prematurely according to his father's instruction. he needed a new start; a new image. fortunately, through his training, that's what he got.
He continued full-time on the office training and Once he turned 22, just like he was supposed to, Hoseok became the new principal/CEO.
even if he was numb to for , as a healthy male, He definitely had his office flings with people. but still, he remained pretty steadfast in his own morals. he doesn't try to sleep with someone too fast if he thinks he'd hurt them- no matter what.
That’s also probably why Hoseok has yet to tell his parents that he doesn’t want to go steady with a stranger- even if it means helping in a business partnership.
His parents think by giving him a subscription to this boyfriend/girlfriend android like place, hoseok would change his mind.
Hoseok doesn’t mind though. His work life is all clean and organized but having to leave college early put him at a disadvantage, giving him trouble managing his personal health and life.
Still, growing up from a conservative background, it’s clear Hoseok doesn’t exactly understand the fact lovers are more like humans. But if a boyfriend/girlfriend can be patient with him, they will see that still doesn’t mean he doesn’t regard them as products that should be tarnished.
And who knows, maybe he can be taught that what he considers as robots are humans too. He’s already learned how uality works.
So robots aren’t that far off now, right?

Interested In:
Romantic relationship:
only if it doesn’t feel unnatural or forced. Hoseok can’t fall for ppl that easily
Friendship:
always
:
As a fling, yes. but for a relationship, rarely. Hoseok tends to sleep with only the strangers he knows he can’t fall for, so in terms of ppl he knows and likes/loves he’d only want to sleep with someone he likes more than a friend only when he is ready emotionally.
