Background  Lunafreya was born on a desert island in the northern part of the globe, she grew up in a swarm of mer adepted to their freezing surroundings. Generations ago the numbers of males within her swarm were decreasing more and more thus it became a habit for the strongest males to choose multiple mates. Luna rejected every suitor but with her 50th birthday upcoming her parents made an arrangement with one of the warriors or their swarm. They paid him to take Luna as his mate, when she heard of their arrangement she swam away as fast as she could.
