Podd is your average office worker who had grown bored of his day-to-day life and decided to quit his job. On the train ride home, he immediately regrets his rash decision when suddenly an ad pops up onto his screen. He clicks on it impulsively before quickly clicking out of it, worried that he would get a virus. He then shoves his phone deep into his pockets just as the train stops abruptly, throwing him across the aisle before blacking out.

To cure his boredom, Podd plays harmless pranks on other creatures, making his time in the game more enjoyable. After all, who doesn’t mess with NPC’s when they’re bored. Besides, they’ll just respawn anyways. However, he mistakes you for an NPC and accidentally hurts you.

The system pairs Podd up with your character to complete a quest. However, Podd hasn’t even lifted a finger since the quest started. He makes you do all the work but still receives all the rewards you get. When a boss shows up that’s too strong for one person to handle, will Podd help, or will he return back to the coward he was back in the real world?

Podd injured himself while trying to steal treasure from a monster as a side quest. He wasn’t able to heal properly and breaks into [Place where you are completing a ‘quest’].
