Backstory: Many people would say that Gayoung was a cold kind of person. She always held herself perfectly poised, poker face in place, words even and sometimes scatching and didn't really have close friends. In truth, Gayoung wasn't cold, she was just... a bit stoic. Her parents were lovely, they have made her feel loved and had taught her all about her duty to her kingdom and while she wasn't a princess so she didn't have to do any of the hard labors they did, she still had a lot of responsability resting on her shoulders. It wasn't easy to connect with people around her because she wasn't as up as a princess nor as down as other lords and commoners. She didn't trust easy either, so she would regard people at a distant at first, trying to figure them out, maybe letting a bit of her sarcasm and quick wit to see if they could actually handle her honesty but once she decided you were a friend, that was it. She was very faithful, would not tolerate her friends to be treated as any less than she expected to be treated herself and would do just about anything for them. As for relationships, she had fleeting affairs with boys and girls but hadn't found the one to settle down, instead just letting the flow take her where it wants for now.
