Ryeowook was born into a small High Elven family who specialized in trading goods between the Empires. From what he remembers of his parents, they seemed like good people and so, doesn't understand why they had been murdered in cold blood and robbed. The culprits had left him alive for some unknown reason, perhaps they thought he'd die on his own or they couldn't kill a child so young... or perhaps they just didn't see him hiding or hear his choked sobs of horror. All he recalls besides the murder was the armour and symbols of the Empire that did it as well as the one he once had connections to. They did nothing about it and did nothing to protect or help him. 

He didn't go back to the Empire and instead took to the wilds, living dangerously with a few close calls along the way until a tribe took him in and raised him alongside their own. 20 years or so later and he remains loyal to Katsuki and his tribe. He did everything possible to show that he belonged there instead of with a bunch of s back in the Empire, even if he hopes for peace in the land to happen one day.

His main profession within the tribe is Tailoring but will take on other tasks such as scouting and acting as a double-agent for when Katsuki is in need of additional information that may be otherwise harder to obtain. He'll even be the best little thief ever and bring home some food at times.

Ryeowook although a High Elf, doesn't always act like your typical one, over various missions to gain inside information from the Empire, he has been able to lead a separate life within the Empire's walls and keep his real self for home. He will rarely show true feelings or intent towards those he crosses paths with, within the Empire... this doesn't count for his natural sass moments.

Overall, he is good at making friends and often manages to get what he wants and needs when it comes to information. He tends to keep a calm mind in all manners of situations and can adapt to come up with strategies and give input on the spot.

At home in the tribe, he works his off and is friendly towards everyone he meets. He is caring and often jokes about with those he is closest to as he doesn't like to be a handful to others. He only has sassy moments when the appropriate situation arises otherwise it's full on respect.

He does, however, have moments where it seems like he is in mid-melt-down mode and can have bursts of violent wording.... possibly physical violence too if he doesn't choose to just drown you with water magic.
