As soon as he had graduated with his ten emblems from Aurai Academy all those years ago, Sepher had left to join the troops. He had shown plenty of potential as a young one, and had developed all of his skills with time and patience, soon becoming one of the best Haeyari fighters among his peers. He hadn't always been such a workaholic, but with age and experience and finding a purpose for himself, did Sepher learn how to focus and discipline himself.

He had served as a soldier for about four years before coming back to the academy to teach younger and less experienced Haeyari. During his time as a soldier, he had fought many a battle and further developed his abilities. It had been in the midst of a rather grim battle when he had developed one of his greatest moves of all - flying over the battlefield as a hawk as he unleashed the fury of the heavens upon his enemies using Split the Sky. It had worked magnificently and allowed their troops to regain ground and momentum.

Sepher most definitely bears the scars from battles on his skin. He wears them with pride and he doesn't think of them negatively at all. He understands that many of them were from his own miscalculations, mistakes, and others from tough opponents. He has the most scars along his hands and arms, many across the front and back of his torso from the toughest training and battles. He has several on his legs as well. If you ever catch him training out in the sun without a shirt, don't be too shocked by his less than perfect skin.

Sepher may come off as being a little cold, perhaps even a little distant at times, but that is just his self-discipline shining through. He is not always so strict with himself and his students, he can actually be quite calm and chill, but that is when he is not working. He draws a line between personal and professional relationships and he rarely crosses them. He likes to keep his personal life private, and away from his duties as a teacher and soldier, so please do not try to pry into his life, you will only end up having to face the consequences of your actions.

Don't be afraid to approach him for help. He does not discriminate what clan someone is from. If he is able to, he will do what he can to assist. He is not a perfect person, and he knows this, so don't expect him to be the answer to your prayers. His habit of being a little distant is probably one of his most obvious shortcomings. He does his best to hide his other ones, but again, no one is perfect, and if one looked into Sepher's eyes for long enough, they'd see the occasional tormented look from within.
