ACT I. Nam Minsoo was created Tom Bombadil by a God, long before a time any human can remember. He was set down on the planet as one of the first humans in existence and tasked with watching over this feeble species. The God gifted him powers to protect himself and help those around him. He is the first magical human, before humans began to mate with creatures and inherit their magical blood.

ACT II. Tom Bombadil travelled the world, helping where he could and writing down many stories. Across all ages, under various names, he is hailed for his books. He did his best to help the non-magical humans, and the magical ones when they needed it, but time was discouraging to him. They made the same mistakes over and over. There was no helping them! And so, a long, long time after he was set on this Earth, he set off on his own adventure. He settled down, married a beautiful water nymph, outlived her and carried on with a heavy heart.

ACT III. Nam Minsoo has been roaming for longer than he can remember but his thirst to learn and discover has not lessened. In this era, he is a famous author accredited for his scientific works on creatures such as the 'encyclopedia of the strange', and various fantasy epics. Other than material for his stories, he has lost interest in the conflicts of the world around him. What brings him a spark of joy each day is his lovely assistant, an elemental he succeeded in creating. The wizard / researcher / author spends most of his time on the island these days, where there are plenty of subjects to study, but he returns to mainland regularly.
