Description
Hades (Lee Chaerin)
Ruler of the Underworld, Goddess of Death, Owner of Precious gems/metals Underground
Personality: Stern, pitiless, impulsive & deceptive. But she is a fair judge, protective of the things she deemed is hers and loves to have fun in her own weird way.
Background:
Hades, the fourth child of the Titan Kronos and Rhea, was born into a dysfunctional family where her father swallowed his children whole in fear of a prophecy. It was prohecied that one of his children will dethrone him and this alarmed the said Titan. Like most of her siblings, Hades experienced such harsh treatment and was incapacitated in extreme darkness and unconciousness. However, loving mother sought to devise a plan with Gaia. Hades' mother secretly gave birth to her six child and kept the child hidden till it reached adulthood. Upon reaching adulthood, the child then deceitfully made his father disgorged all of his children. And this started the War of the Titans. Hades together with her siblings defeated and imprisoned the almighty Kronos in the deeps of Tartarus, giving them full power to rule over the earth. They divided the realms and draw lots. Hades ended up drawing the Underworld, while her brothers claimed the skies, the seas and Olympus. She received her reward victorious but the goddess couldn't help but feel annoyed at the farce forced upon her.
Eons later, Hades rules over the dead - providing them refuge, condemnation, punishment and comfort depending upon the judgement of the Furies. A goddess living in darkness and in charge of the safe passage of souls, Hades seeks companion that she could trust and fully appreciates the hard work she has to deal with every second of the day. Feared by mankind or overlooked by some deitties, Hades felt envious of those who devote themselves to her siblings. She felt betrayed yet in some ways preferred the serenity she finds being far from spotlight.
