The protector 
chen was a sore disappointment for the family when he presented. Trained as and expected to be an alpha his whole life, there had been heavy expectations riding on the youngest son- which all shattered as he presented as beta. Still, the family prided themselves on their respectful and learned ways; he was never belittled or outcast, just sighed at all too often. It was lucky that he had never taken anything for granted, and pushed to the rank of protector through sheer will and endless training- though you might find his humbleness odd for a jin wolf.
