[warning! talks of child abuse] Jennie Kim had a rough start to life, her birth parents didn't want anything to do with her, so instead they abused her. Until they got caught by her first grade teacher, and then she got taken away by CPS. She was then placed into foster homes for the next four years of her life. Each home was different, some she experienced the same thing she did from birth, and others she thought she wanted to keep as her forever family. It wasn't until she was in the sixth grade when she found a family that would adopt her, and take her in as their own. They knew that gaining the trust of the young girl would be hard considering her past. They got her into therapy, and found an outlet to get out her frustration, martial Arts.
She Grew up, dedicating her life to training, and knew that she wanted nothing more than to do that for a living, but what would one do as just a martial arts master? So instead she became a stunt woman for actors. living out her dream.
It wasn't long before she dreamed of becoming an actor herself, wanting to inspire other women to be strong and powerful, despite what they have gone through, but she knew that it would take some time.

Jennie found herself on this boat, like most others, it seemed like a hoax. However, she thought there was no harm in giving it a try, despite all the warnings in her head telling her to stay away from the ship. She didn't know anything of the history of the SS Valencia from the past until she boarded the ship herself.
