Brief history : 

Linghe and his family wasn't part of Wen clan or any clan before. They travelled all around the vast world by themselves and lived together with human being. No one suspected their true form, not until a hunter arrived in the village. Their family would fight the hunter one on one if he ever asked but instead, he kidnapped Linghe and his mom, used a half blood wolves when his father was in rut and accused him in public for a . The once kind and accepting villagers turned their back and killed him. Didn't want to miss the chance, the hunter led them to where he keep Linghe and his mother, only to found an empty barn. 

Witnessed how villagers killed Linghe's father, they knew it's a game of survival now. Escaped through dense rainforest, they arrived in Wen territory after sleepless night with extreme hunger and thirst. With zero knowledge on how Wen clan works, they accepted an invitation from a man for a free meal, only to be separated. The man forced Linghe to watched some random Wen alpha his omega mother right in front of his eyes before sold her to a brothel. With no adults around him, Linghe fought with stray dogs for a piece of bread and eventually picked up a pick pocket skills as he grew into a young adult. Using his pheromone and aura of an alpha, no one dared to mess with him. 

One day, he saw a group of teenagers swung a sword inside a stunning pavillion in an orderly manner and it caught his attention. Sneakily, he watched it from a tree and practiced it with a wood stick. It was his fifth visit when an old man noticed him and called him down. With no way to escape, he complied but distance himself in a fighting position. Instead of scolding him, he offered Linghe to join them. Without second thought, he agreed. Since then, he lived in the pavillion and learn material arts. With determination to find his mother, Linghe climbed up social status stairs and became the right hand of the former protector. 

When the war between clan arised, Linghe took his revenge on Wen clan and killed the former protector, covered it up as an enemy's attack. Once it's done, Wen clan appointed him as the new protector. With his new status, Linghe able to accessed Wen's crook and cranny. He found the man who her mother and tortured him to death. Unfortunately, her mother wasn't there. They sold her in a black market and a human bought her. What angered him more was the pregnancy of her mother and possibilities of them becoming an experiment for those crazy scientiest. 

In order to find his mother, Linghe need to keep his current position and thus maintain his act and position intact.
