chapter one
Mint is the adoptive son of a muggle and a magician - very lovely ones. However he grew up with running for his life as his father's family had some history that caused him to never be safe, being hunted and eventually killed when Mint was just a teenage boy. Ever since his mother has been taking care of him - or he had been taking care of her. Despite now being safe Mint has never been entirely relaxed, always tense and ready to bolt - or fight, depending on what he is facing and how done with some he is.
chapter two
While always moving when young his mother was more than grateful when her son finally got to spend his time at a place without always having to pack his things and leave. She is very supportive and is by now dating another man who Mint very much supports even though he still misses his dad and has yet to get over the pain and trauma of losing him. However not being faced with the tragedy he has gone through everyday makes him push away his worries and instead just enjoy his time in Hogwarts with the people he loves and the magic around him.
chapter three
Quidditch and dancing is something Mint loves. Moving his body is something he has quite some fun with and it keeps his brain from going into overdrive. He often wanders the halls, looking for some people he knows or goes outside to meet the fantastic beasts and creatures rarely hiding away from him. He is an open person and easy to get along with, so if anyone wants to be friends he is very willing even though he comes of rather rude when he has his resting face on.

I’ve never bought into that ‘you just know’ notion. Love is a tricky thing. Sometimes it feels like an undeniable force that hits between the eyes and doesn’t let up. Other times, it’s malleable, questionable. It’s truth hidden in and amongst external obstacles and internal circumstances that have formed who you are, what you expect in the world, and how you can accept love.
