son chaeyoung was born to a set of parents who believed they deserved a son. a man to continue the family business. a child they could arrange to marry another successful family and further their business ventures. one who could be both their pawn and their trophy.

instead, they were given a girl. the thought of conceiving another child crossed their minds, but they weren't getting younger. and in this day and age, they weren't allowed to be ist without massive backlash.

chaeyoung was put through private school as soon as she was able to speak. the art of business and everything that comes with it was forcefed to her young enough that her perception of the world was left askew from the start.
