first time allowing her delicate feet to touch against the ground without socks and shoes, first time changing into a layman's clothing stolen from one of her male servants, and the first time flipping over the walls behind the manor. when she lands on the ground, she could already feel a stinging pain shooting up from her feet, but she still have miles to run. with her almost perfect disguise, no one would have recognized the person as a lady, not to mention one from a noble family. she could have fooled everyone on the streets, but not the people in the manor who have discovered the missing lady.
 
suran, that is her name.
it is a name she never thought she could have, she never even heard it in the first place. it is beautiful, elegant to every syllable, a name that is to be matched to the most perfect lady, yet now she has it; when she sneaked out to grab herbs for the sick girl in the slums, suddenly captured by a troop from nowhere and to the sophisticated manor where a lady went missing, this name was in everyone's mouth. and somehow she knew, she must have been a lookalike.
the master in the house knew she is a fake, yet she is the closest thing that he could ever grab hold, a pawn that he could send into the palace. captured or not, news of suran's disappearance would have spread, and this lookalike would have been taken as suran no matter where she was. 
 
so there was a plan.
she had no name, no family, no identity. and yet destiny has given her all at once, in exchange for a great price that goes up to all the lives she had seen in the slums, including her own. all those she had met, talked to, and befriended might not realize she had been gone, but certainly would not know she is now a daughter of a noble family, ready to enter the palace in exchange for their peaceful lives. who she was is no longer important, she is now the oldest daughter of the army general who will be entering the palace in the next few weeks, in hopes to wed one of the princes. she is never going to know if someone had picked the herbs for the sick girl, or if the girl is ever going to miss her.
 
she will also never know if the real suran is still alive.
