gahyeon grew up in seoul with loving parents and a great childhood. being an only child of her parents, she was extremely doted on. despite this, she grew up as someone very genuine and grateful of everything given to her. she's as smart as she is kind, being at the top of her classes or at least near the top since she started attending school and was a very studious person. happy, bubbly and sweet, gahyeon isn't without her darker moments, however.

( cw: trauma, assault. ) in middle school and into high school, she had encounters with a student who posed as her close friend that took advantage of her. sadly, it happened a few times rather than just a once incident matter - especially because she was too afraid of telling on him. her parents noticed how her grades were slipping, though, and asked her what was happening. in which, she confided in them with everything. her parents immediately enrolled her into therapy where she steadily improved mentally and actions were taken in regards to said student.

this is where her dream of being a psychologist herself came into play. she wanted to be able to help others professionally in the way her own psychologist helped her through her ordeal; she admired them immensely and she even still e-mails her ever so often with updates. gahyeon, despite her sunny disposition, has her moments just as everyone else. trauma is not something that just goes away, and she does have times where she struggles. however, she tries her best to stay positive and think on the good side of things, keeping her head up and making sure that her traumatic experience(s) doesn't define who she is as a person and how she lives her life.

studious by nature, gahyeon takes her classes and schoolwork very seriously. making sure she does each assignment dutifully and turning them in on time. she tries her best to balance out her social life with her school work and knows her own limits. therefore, it's not often that she gets overwhelmed with things. you could say she may be dubbed ' the campus sweetheart ' , being able to blend in and become friends with most walks of life as she's friendly, kind and accepting of everyone.

she decided to be on the volleyball team after wanting to be able to do something to get more exercise in so that her health could remain in a fair state since she would mostly be in front of a laptop writing papers and doing research while snacking. volleyball is something she really enjoys and takes great pleasure in each meeting/practice and game! she is also looking to be within a study group of different students in the university. a way for a more relaxed form of doing assignments as well as meeting new people and making new friends.

pastel colors, studying, making friends, going to cafes, all fruits, poetry, eating, strawberry milk.

the dark, storms, super spicy foods ( but she'll eat it anyway ), yelling, narrow-mindedness/judgemental people, people who are mean for absolutely no reason.

baking, watching movies, listening to music, researching random subjects, an assortment of arts & crafts.

bites her nails when she's nervous, known to be a bit of a crybaby, a bit " dreamy ", sometimes goes by Lucy, plays with the hem of her shirt when she starts becoming anxious, doesn't like being restricted ( unable to move her limbs ).
