- he spent the next four years in los angeles for a bachelors in filmmaking. thankfully, he didn't come to regret his choice. unlike high school, he genuinely enjoyed the courses he was taking. he spent the next four years honing his craft and developing his own style, influenced by the likes of jean-luc godard, wong kar wai, and stanley kubrick. 
- during his junior year, he studied abroad in paris. there, he dated a rising model for a few months. they broke up when dongmin realized he was still in love with someone else. 
- after graduation, he moved back to seoul to pursue a career in film direction. he specializes in music videos and commercials, collaborating with an extensive list of clients including louis vuitton, gucci, estee lauder, and vogue korea.
