Like most born on the east side, her family was not well off nor were they upstanding citizens just trying to make it day to day. Her mother was a stripper - a good one, but usually spent all her money on drugs, booze, and herself. She usually called Joohyun her darling niece so her clients wouldn't think she had kids. Plus she would get pitty money that she had to raise her poor dead sister's daughter. 

Her father was a gangster selling drugs, making them - so he often wasn't home and would just send money to Joohyun to spend on the family since he knew his selfish wife wouldn't. From a young age, Joohyun was taught how to manipulate men and have them take care of her. 

Blessed with brains and beauty, she was surprisingly good in school and wanted out of the east. She didn't want to live this way. She wanted to make something of herself, but of course she had no money. But she knew where the money was. 

It was easier than she thought to find men wanting a poor baby fawn to take care of over their own family. She became a sugarbaby in high school stealing her mother's name to open credit cards to buy designer clothes and things she needed to play the part until her daddies started paying for her things. You name it, she's done it.

She was partying with people twice her age, sleeping with men married, single, and making money people her age could never have while at the same time being the poor ice at her school.

She did disappear right after high school due to the fact she actually got enough money from her daddies to go to college, then medical school. During this time, she lived in the dorms not many knew her background just that she was very good friends with many rich donors so people were good to her.

She was will pleasing her daddies, well more so now they were just pleasing her so far to the point a few even built her a brand new clinic and apartment above her clinic. 

She returned to the east once her clinic was built, moving, and opening up. She isn't an active sugar baby - but at times when money is dry she'll make docotor's house call for funds. 

But her main income now is black market medical deals - selling healthy organs, getting paid to doctor up gangsters, selling prescription drugs, and giving out free health care to people who actually need it.

Some do hate her for getting out then just to come back, and other envy her or want to know her secrets of how she did it all.
