yongsun was born and raised in the bustling city of seoul, south korea. being a modern girl was all she’d known ever since she could walk. from schoolwork to the angsty teenage phase, college entrance exams to marrying her high school sweetheart, yongsun knew how to keep her schedules tight. because with how fast life moved, it was best to squeeze in all that could be done. at 29, all that was left was to begin her own family and do it all over again. but for the first time, the world came to a screeching halt when her doctor informed them of yongsun’s body being unfit for pregnancy. and in the scenario that they were successful with conceiving, the chances of a healthy pregnancy were less than ideal. falling into a terrible depression, yongsun decided to take time away from the idea of a family. this decision brought her to the peaceful town of yeongwon where she could stay to reflect on her life and find a new path forward.
