eros is dominated by two different parts with rather different traits, so he may sometimes seem like two different people within one body. however, that is not true as he is mostly in control of it and tends to keep his own balance of the two with a stable personality of his own that can be easily distinguished from either of his other two sides.
both sides of him are connected to his species. having an angel part coming from his father, and a demon one he got from his mother, a succubus demon. these two sides are dependent on his mood and emotions. the more unstable he gets, the stronger one of his sides will become.

each of his sides has triggers that can 'urge' them forward. they will usually not have them dominate eros completely but will have one of his sides 'peeking' out as if both eros and that side were 'co-conscious'. through these triggers, it is possible to 'forcefully' pull one of the sides forward so he tries to keep them lowkey. only a few close people know about them in case it is needed. for the demon, food or drinks with a strong/acid taste such as coffee or alcohol, ism, anger, dark colors (be it in room decor, clothing, etc.). on the other hand for the angel, sweets, milk, light colors, plants and nature, bright emotions such as love and affection, joy, etc. 

when his demon side is dominant he loves teasing and playing with people's thoughts and emotions. he is very blunt and doesn't mind much if others get hurt because of him. loves anything sinful as well. this side is the reason for all the tattoos and piercings on his body. he does them himself.
on the other hand, when his angel side is dominant he is much more careful with his words but still very honest. he will try to take care of others and help them when he feels they aren't feeling so well. he will feel much better himself when this side is dominant as well.

he is usually very blunt and honest, but always takes others feelings into account making him reliable and trustworthy. incredibly devoted to a partner and aiming to please others, both ually, romantically, and emotionally. same applies to friendships, but his methods may vary depending on his mood, partners, and multiple other factors.

under normal circumstances, eros hardly gets shy or uncomfortable. it will be rare to see him flustered or awkward as he doesn't really overthink most stuff
also very patient and fair, and you can count on his cooperation and tolerance. due to his personality, he is really good at adapting to people's needs, be this a partner, or even a friend. he can be the one caring for others or letting them care for him. ranging from being both dominant or submissive, be it in the bedroom or in the overall relationship.

demon side: telephatic communication and perception which he can control.

angel side: emphaty which he cannot control. can feel the emotions of those surrounding him very strongly and may share his own emotions with others (ex: calming them down if they are upset)

can only use his powers when their respective side is dominant.

demon side: the stronger his demon side, the more he lacks control of his power. can end up communicating his thoughts to nearby people or reading their minds even when he doesn't want to.

angel side: the stronger his angel side, the more he will connect to the people surrounding him, and if the person is feeling something very strongly, he will feel it just as intensely sometimes even including mental exhaustion or physical pain/illness.

heights. has a huge fear of heights and that is the reason he refuses to even open his wings or show them publicly. this is applicable to both his demon and angel side as well as his 'standard personality'.

mixing the blood of an angel and a demon, eros' species goes by the name of nephalem. appearance wise, this comes with a set of wings, one white and one black, which can be kept hidden, and eros refuses to use them. his eyes alternate between a black standard color when neither side is dominant, fully black when the demon takes over and grey when the angel takes over. his blood too changes with each side, being fully black with the demon side and platinum white with the angel side. when neither side is dominant, his blood will be the usual red.
under the demon's dominance, he also gets small fangs and long black pointy nails to match the pitch-black hair. on the other hand, when his angel side is dominant his hair turns white and his skin becomes clean and soft, his tattoos disappearing.

eros is very passionate about drawing and one of his favorite hobbies is drawing on his own skin. tattoos. all of them were done by his demon side, having multiple on his chest, arms, and back, one on his left wrist, and one on his lower stomach. most of his tattoos are faith-related as a way of mocking his angel side.

much like his tattoos, his piercings were all done by his demon side as well. he has a total of 4 piercings aside from his multiple ear piercings. this includes a lip ring and a nose ring, a tongue piercing, and his left .

can vary a lot between all black and all white. adds little bits of color through accessories, shoes, any type of jewelry, and sometimes even his hair which is always kept either fully black, fully white, or dyed bright colors. keeps his nails short and painted black and will dress and accessorize himself in an androgynous way from time to time. all depends on his mood.

not much is known about eros' past. he was born to an angel father and a succubus demon mother though he was not raised by either of them. his father wanted to avoid anything that connected him to the demon while his mother was certainly not the type to dedicate herself to a child, simply wanting to go around repeating the same she had done with his father and using her charms to seduce other species. because of this, eros knew close to nothing about his past self, including his name and age as well as where he was born. he was left at an orphanage as a baby, if he had to guess, he would say his mother probably handed him back to the father who then dropped him off. because they had no information on him and his powers didn't develop from birth, he was kept at arms distance and addressed simply as 'son of lilith' having no permission to interact with the other kids. he was 'studied' until they managed to figure out his species and powers, and only then was he given a name, eros astrea, chosen due to his traits.

once again there was not much he remembered from the orphanage, maybe because he was young, maybe because it had been such a long time, or maybe because his brain had completely erased this part of his life, but he only had very few vague memories of his time at the place where he was raised and taught how to master his own powers. or more like, taught how to suppress them. after that, it was like years of his life were deleted from his memories and the next thing he remembers he was 18 years old and being 'allowed' to leave the orphanage, though it felt more like he was being asked to leave. he spent long years traveling, convincing himself he wanted nothing to do with his past while unconsciously searching for any type of clue that could help lead him to a new discovery. he spent long years traveling, convincing himself he wanted nothing to do with his past while unconsciously searching for any type of clue that could help lead him to a new discovery. the more he tried though, the more frustrated and disappointed he got as there was nothing he could follow up on that would lead him to any information about his past. after a few years, he felt like time had stopped for him. maybe because it literally had for his body. he was physically 22 years old but had long stopped aging, and there it was once again, a gap in his memory that prevented him from knowing exactly how long it had passed. 

after many years of wandering and looking for crumbs that he could just not find at all, eros met someone who told him about the institute they taught at. at first, he didn't mind it much but as the other explained about the letter and the coin, it sparkled a memory from 8-year-old eros. he had also received the letter, but as a young boy under such high control, he hadn't even laid eyes on it. he wasn't supposed to know about it, but with his power just spiking and him lacking control of it, he had accidentally read the minds of his teachers as they conversed about it down the hall. 'the letter for eros' he'd heard, and then he couldn't bring himself to even attempt to stop. the owner of the orphanage had taken the letter himself and replied negatively to it. that's why he'd never gotten it again. he hadn't been considered studying, but after that conversation with his new friend, eros decided it was finally time he dedicated himself to something. he had no idea if he'd studied before, and if he did, what he would have focused on, so for now he would just follow his heart. he chose to pick the classes thinking of what both of his sides would like, as well as his elective based on his own interests and obviously going for art.

right now he is at the school, wanting to focus on his own life and wishing to let go of the past he'd become way too obsessed with. works as a tattoo artist and piercer at his own tattoo studio. his art style can depend on which side is dominant, the angel side doing lighter, thin line style art, and smaller designs and the demon side doing more dark, heavy, and larger style tattoos. when neither side is present he can do a little bit of both, but not as accurately, so he tends to stick to more simple, not as detailed tattoos in this case.
