Enzo was different from the very beginning, a designated outcast by birthright if you will. He was born and raised amongst a family of notorious thugs, the Callahans, and grew up isolated from the public eye for most of his life because of it. What semblance he had for a father had taught him how to fight, to steal, manipulate and do whatever it took to triumph in life, even if it meant to kill in coldblood. All in all, to prove that he was worthy of living the life he had been given. In this light, it wasn’t long before the solid justification of rights from wrongs was dimming in Enzo’s eyes, having become an ever so diligent servant of the Callahans, a tool, a crook, and yet, still, be considered a child of their own.

Inexplainable, however, would be the persistent trudging sensation of heaviness at his heart from reasons he had yet to discover just yet. An insufferable emptiness that willed a very curious individual to ponder, to explore. And perhaps.. find a better purpose for himself. The older Enzo grew, the more experience and knowledge fell upon him as he stepped further and further into the real world. And at the age of 19, ULTIMATELY, HE went rogue.

he could deem his ‘differences,’ being one with the cold, a sole reason for his alienation from many. Not only for the genuine lack of warmth a family could ever provide, but for the unique cryokinetic powers, he possessed which amplified his successes to serve. For all the wrong reasons, that is. One night of a stand-off, in particular, against higher-ups that quickly escalated into more bloodshed would be all it took and Enzo would soon be on the run. He should’ve felt like a winner, matter of factly, he should’ve finally felt free. although, to be aimlessly wandering the outskirts of where he’d been exiled from, all Enzo could feel was again the preexisting weight within just painstakingly grow, until he could longer handle it anymore. The troubled cryokinetic would blackout in the middle of nowhere, hoping to be consumed by heaps of the snow that fell heavily then and there.

"Welcome, young one. Fear not for you are safe within the walls of the Mystiq Institute. Who might you be?" Fate would have other plans for him, or so as it seemed. The next several moments for him feeling like the perfect embodiment of a dream, except, he never could seem to awaken from it. Not that he wanted to either way. "It's Enzo. Enzo Cal- Calhoun." The thought of joining a place where he would finally be accepted was far too appealing to pass up. He would be amongst others much like himself, but most importantly? Enzo, would no longer stand for the slander that was the epitome of his past life, shackled miserably by immorality.
