Happiness has many definitions, depending on the person that you ask. Felix always thought that his revolved around his family, the one that was pulled together after so much hurt and pain that his mother moved them from Australia to South Korea. She was a bright soul, quick to pull a smile on people’s faces and just a constant source of comfort for him, for his siblings. And his ‘father’ was a man with few words but a heart of gold and love for their jigsaw puzzle, though it would eventually come out that he was hiding a lot more behind his heart. That happiness was clawed out of his hands on the fateful night of Hyunjin’s 8th birthday, complete with brain matter and the lifeless husks that used to be their parents as bullets riddled their home. Decay. It usually starts at the root of a tree over time, but Felix’s came with a sudden uprooting of his whole life as his mother’s family shipped him and his sister back to their birth country and surrendered Hyunjin to the unforgiving foster care system. He didn’t have much to be happy about anymore, fearing that his brother was now lost to him and his sister was the only piece left for him to protect. His world was rocked even more when their family divulged the full past of their mother, who was a former special force agent for the original cartels. She had quickly gotten tired of the cruelty and all of the blood on her hands as she lived two lives, leaving it behind after her first husband’s death and unknowingly falling in love with her enemy when she met Hyunjin’s father. Distrustful when it came to people, Felix took his mother’s old lessons and teachings to heart as he threw himself into finding ways to protect the two of them from the world. Many years down the line did their family members ship them back to Korea, believing that their trauma and their difficult personalities were too much for them to handle. This became a turning point for him as it him into the spotlight of the elite of the special forces in Korea, especially after they found out who his parents had been. They offered Felix and Olivia a means to protect themselves, heaping more trauma onto them until the breaking point.

A void that could never be filled started to consume him, mind plagued with the ‘what-if’s’ and the ways he should have protected his remaining family. The only thing that fueled him and broke him all the same was the deep seated grudge for Venom. He wasn’t even angry that his ‘father’ had been a building pillar for them, more disappointed that his decision caused their society to fall into crumbles, that led to their deaths and then his siblings. Felix underwent a complete cleanse as they branded him Pluto, for his vicious and bloody dealing of deaths whenever he went out on the field. The elite had been hesitant to put him on the task force ‘Horizon’ but couldn’t refuse when he volunteered, daring them to turn him down when he was one of the best they had.
