it started with revena. or at least, she thinks it did. once upon a time, a long, long time ago, she'd been a little girl. born to normal parents. well, harpies. she'd hatched actually. and then she'd been enrolled in to the school. and one day, she supposed she'd graduated. her past is fuzzy. as fuzzy as the in betweens of her life story. the school has been her safe haven for a long time. at one point, she moved into the basement. and for years after she roamed the halls until a kind person caughter her. a fledgling harpie, lost within her other half. and from this was born revena and kyls. 
 
revena: the kinder, more human half that she was coaxed into after years of roaming wild. this one has become an educated woman. a sophisticated one. perhaps with a side serving of sassiness. a teacher of the dark arts, much like her mentor. this is the only side of herself she wants others to her. after years of training, it would be a shame for anyone to see anything else. 
 
kyls: the harpie side. the bearer of evil thoughts and dark ideas. the reason the dark arts come so naturally to revena. this is the source of her power, the truth of her origins, and the one trying to take over.

revena once roamed the halls of the school. as a student, maybe... as a stranger, perhaps. she is a shroud of heinous energy and mystery. obeying the rules of the school only because she must. every day it's a challenge between revena the harpie, and revena the human. often times, she can be found whispering angry conversations with herself as she struggles between the evil desires of her counterpart. like a jekyl and hyde. when instigated, or with heightened dark emotions, the harpie, whom she's begun to call kyls, awakens ever more. and sometimes, the struggle isn't worth it
