Minho's life was rather dull up until the new kid came to town. He always knew about the doll shop, was fascinated by it. But he didn't really actually care until he saw the young teen now working there. Wanting to learn more about the boy is what influenced his own interests and hobbies. Despite teasing the boy for liking dolls and things of that nature, Minho wanted to know more, to be closer.

Of course, he wasn't really good at expressing such things, so it kind of backfired. Years of teasing, of lighthearted "bullying" that had an underlying theme of... something else that couldn't quite be placed, Minho found himself falling into what could be considered an unrequited love. Except, he never said anything about it to the doll maker's grandson. That would be far too embarrassing, it would make him far too vulnerable. And that just wouldn't do.

At first, Minho ventured into cosplaying because he just thought it would be fun. But as time went on, it became something of a safe space for him. It was a comfort, to dress as his favorite characters, to learn makeup and be more free. It was a form of expression, something he always struggled with anyway. So it was no surprise that it was a hobby that quickly became a large part of his life, traveling to cons and keeping up with all the latest trends.

His internet presence is small but growing, he's recognizeable when in costume, but most people don't know that "Kaori" (his cosplay name) is him. Only a select few friends and any professionals he works with know. But to be Kaori, to step into that world, is like a breath of fresh air. Otherwise, normally Minho just works at the local library. At home, he takes care of three lovely cats who he loves with all his heart.

Maybe one day he'll learn how to properly express how he feels. Until then, he'll continue digging himself into a deeper hole. 

He tends to seem cold and harsh on the outside, but once you get past his protective walls, he's a very sweet and caring person. Minho loves very deeply, something many people don't expect from him, but perhaps once you get to know him it isn't all that surprising. He's more likely to push someone away once he senses them getting close. All he really needs is a little patience and open arms. Minho does have a roundabout way of showing he cares even in the little ways, but don't take his snide remarks too roughly, usually they're just to mask whatever is lying underneath; despite popular belief, he has no malicious intent behind harsh words.
