They say you never forget your first bites. When a vampire sinks their fangs into your flesh, and when you feed for the very first time. Though Dohyun was originally born as a human, the amount of years he spent as one pale in comparison to the centuries that he has lived as a vampire. He does not remember what it was like to be human, only recalling the torturous pleasure-pain-agony of his rebirth.

It transpired on a battlefield bathed in red. Dohyun had been a soldier, though at this point he doesn’t remember which side he had been fighting for. A vampire found him after the battle, barely alive among a sea of the dead, and drained Dohyun of all he had left - then passed on their gift to him. Immortality, at the cost of needing blood to survive.

He won’t bore you with the details of his life between then and now. Most of it was spent surviving, then networking, building up not necessarily a name for himself, but certainly a reputation. Dohyun has many connections through the vampire world from past favors and business deals. Because of this he is seen as something of a wealthy elite, and though he is technically well-off, he doesn’t see himself as the purebred rich type. Even when he doesn’t remember his human life he knows he came from humble beginnings. He just doesn’t see the point in pretending to be something he’s not.

Dohyun started his work at the Blood Farm as soon as it opened, nearly a century ago. As one of the delegated “leaders” of the Blood Farm his position is quite important, and he is generally well-respected among his colleagues. (Though there are those that see him as too stiff, almost boring.) The vampire takes his job seriously and does his best to ensure the facility is running smoothly, and that means making sure other vampires at the Blood Farm complete their jobs and know their place among the hierarchy.

If you ever need to reach Dohyun you can always find him in some part of the Blood Farm during the day, or in his personal office at night.

— While his birth name from his short 27 years of life as a human is Lim Donghyun, once he had been turned he adopted a new name, Lee Dohyun. This was a fairly common practice during the time period when he was turned, where most vampires would go by a new name to signify their rebirth.

— As Head of Operations at the Blood Farm Dohyun's main job includes: ensuring that quotas are met, making sure the humans are being treated well, checking incident reports (fights, security concerns, etc.) and more. He works closely with the Head of Security, Head of Human Relations and Head of Resources. Due to his position Dohyun is one of the highest authories within the Blood Form.

— There is a possibility that the vampire who turned Dohyun is at this particular Blood Farm facility. If that is the case, he has yet to meet them. In fact, Dohyun would rather not like to see them, as the vampire that turned him never completed their sire-bond. Even though centuries have passed, the potential is still there for the vampire to finally make their claim, and it is a fate that Dohyun has done his best to avoid.

— As mentioned above, Dohyun does not remember much of anything about his life as a human. He chalks this up to poor memory from living too long, though there is always the possibility that there is something more supernatural about it.

you're the vampire that turned dohyun centuries ago. it's been so long since the last time dohyun saw you that he'd honestly hoped you were dead, or at least on the opposite end of the globe. that way he wouldn't have to fear the day you finally complete your sire-bond with him, but is that truly what you want, or has he been fearing what was never going to happen all this time? and what are your feelings on dohyun, why did you never stick around after the bite?

dohyun has never felt a loss of his inhibitions like this before, at least not since he was first turned and dealing with the agonizing hunger of a newborn vampire. there's something about your blood that is so alluring he can't help but crave it. your blood is nirvana on his tongue and he would do anything to get it, and that includes striking a deal with you. what do you want - items, information, priveleges? you name it, he'll make it work, as long as you let him sink his fangs under your skin.

depending on the time day dohyun will be in his office or somewhere else within the facility. you've taken to figuring out most of his normal routine with the intent to break into his office when he isn't there. what you're looking for is anyone's guess - documents, treasure, secrets, money? whatever it is, dohyun would really like to find out when he returns to his office and finds you in the midst of searching through his things.

you've known dohyun for awhile now and for some reason you seem to have made it your life's mission to irritate the hell out of him. he's always so prissy and stuck up in your opinion, so you do your best to try and break him out of it. annoying him, teasing him, trying to get under his skin in ways that dohyun finds pretty unpleasant. he usually tries to ignore you, but you're also one of the only people that can get him to rise to the bait and lash out.

not many people know but one of the ways that dohyun is able to keep a hold on his emotions so well is that he has an outlet for them. specifically, the two of you have an arrangement where you spar with each other, you for your own reasons, and dohyun to let out his pent up aggression and stress, while also getting in some regular training.
