- mature plots are welcome. this does not mean ! somi isn't likely to in this au, she'll turn away from it (i think, characters come to life and escape me). by "mature", i mean that body horror, blood, dark themes are welcome. mun just needs a breather sometimes in between plots. 

- i reply out of order, depends what suits my mood better. 

- i prefer third pov. i prefer para overall but sometimes i will fall back on detailed script for shorter interactions. 

- i'm trying not to hang out in the ic chat too much? its not the main focus and i don't always have the time for it! it moves character dev too fast for my liking so i will refrain most of the time.

- dyes her hair blonde: somi plays herself off as a natural blonde but she is not. infact, she is brunette.
- douma is her father’s side of the family, while jeon is her mother’s side. “ennik” is a name she will discover was meant to be given to her from her father’s family traditions.
- 6 yrs ago, 17 yr old somi made a deal with the vampire cook. he was to increase the quality of the food served at the blood farm in exchange for feeding somi the weird experiments he comes up with and seeing if they result in better tasting blood. somi is deadset on bringing the best blood for vampire management in exchange for information about her parent's whereabouts (or how they died).
- somi (23) is touch averse. physical intimacy isn’t common or comforting to her, it’s generally associated with feedings or traumatic experiences she’s had around the facilities. it is also a sad reminder of all she misses (family, above all)—if there is one way to break somi down, it's with a hug.

☨ Short Bio: (minimum 4 sentences)
Somi is just another human face in another room of the human farm. Dressed in muted monochrome and known for her easy disposition, she seems unassuming at first… but that’s where the illusion ends. Somi is on the hunt for answers.
At the ripe age of 16, Somi’s parents never came home. Her life straddles this one event: before it was undisturbed innocence as they lived on the farm. Somi didn’t even know the full truth of the farm, she just knew her parents worked there but they didn’t return. No notice was given, no reason was ever found.
Somi has longsince assumed they were dead, even if her sixteen year old self clung to her maternal grandmother and weeped “It’s not true!”
Now, having learned the truth of the Blood farm, and what humans must due to survive, Somi carries on as the breadwinner for her grandparents. She engages in traditional feedings, allowing vampires to take from the carotid artery in the neck but not anywhere else.

How much does Somi know about her past? She knows nothing at all. She's thought about it for years, but it's only now that she actually feels the need to find out where they are. Did they die amid feeding a vampire? Was it a freak accident? Could it have been prevented? 

How likely is Somi to...

• Break the curfew? Not very much so. It pays to stay in the neat little lines vampires have laid out. She wants security but... Curiosity killed the cat, as you may or may not know. 
• Greet a stranger? Likely. Somi's natural disposition is energetic and bubbly, but she tries to be withdrawn. Ultimately, she looks hesitant to people: like she's holding back (which... she is). Somi can come of as jittery and unsure of herself, but when she gets to know you, her mask slips. She becomes that happy 16 year old again. 
• Perform a direct feeding outside of her alotted feeding time? Highly unlikely BUT I can see the potential if she was tempted with information about her family. Somi might make the hasty decision to gamble her life away to know where her parents are: dead or alive. 
• Befriend a human? Highly likely. Mortality brings the most unlikely people together, and Somi could use all the help she can get. Her human friends are her chosen family. 
• Befriend a vampire? Not as likely: while Somi is dangerously curious, she is constantly jittery. She's in the presence of a killing machine, and that will always loom over her. Feedings are clinical yet intimate - I wouldn't call it a friendship but she might be disillusioned into trusting certain vampires if they are "regulars".

• Speak? 
• Dress? In old clothing, typically shades of blue or navy blue. Her clothing is all from the facilities, having outgrown the clothes she brought with her here. She has adverse reactions to wool clothing, which makes her break out in rashes. 
• Walk? With a slight slouch. She is taller than most girls, making her stand out. Somi makes herself a little smaller, leaning forward. 
• Address others? "Excuse me." It's respectful but distant, unless the need of the moment is dire. Her greeting is typically a quick purse of her lips into a neutral line with a dip of her head, especially if she doesn't know you. With closer companions, she is more inclined to wave, pout, call out to them by (nick)name.

  ☩ HUMAN CONNECTIONS: feedings are scary. every feeding is another round of russian roulette—will we see each other or not? 

「 sakamoto mashiro 」twenty three yr old somi is relocated once the last of her known family passes away. faced with a new living situation amid the resounding loss, she finds it hard to start again. who is she? what does it mean to live? somi struggles to reassimilate to reality, but finds a sliver of hope as mashiro (unknowingly or not) worms her way into somi's heart. does somi learn to reciprocate? is it all rainbow and sunshine for these new roommates? what trials and tribulations will they face as time goes on? 

「 bestfriends/ex-bestfriends 」maybe they grew up in the facility together, maybe they were/are donors together. maybe this bestfriend and somi have an age gap and one mentored the other through feeding—and if theyre an ex best friend, maybe its for a reason that the other doesn’t know at all. survival of the fittest, they say. cut out the weak link, they mean. 

「 inside out 」You're connected to the outside world somehow. There are products that Somi can't find at the facility that are only available on the streets—plot under co. 

☩ VAMPIRE CONNECTIONS

「 jeong jaehyun 」seventeen year old somi made a deal with the devil himself when she rebeled against the egregious food quality, which her gran was suffering greatly from. how is a blood farm supposed to supply blood if the food for the blood was gruel and water. somi stepped up, throwing a fit, and landed herself in hot water by becoming jaehyun's guinea pig: in exchange for better food, he would feed from her (legally) to see how the quality of blood has changed. this agreement has gone on for years, and most days... somi would like the vampire to perish. most days.

「 monstrous 」direct donation is what keeps her close to these vampires who might or might not know something about her parents and... a vampire feeding goes wrong — it's the first time somi questions if she should remain a direct donor. how much does the truth matter to her? how far does it go? what is the aftermath of this accident for the vampire AND somi?

「 john seo 」it's after curfew and somi is in trouble. she needs help because something is wrong with her grandmother. breaking past curfew and deciding to risk it all, somi seeks help from anyone that will listen, regardless of the trouble it could bring. does somi get the help she needs? what is the price for this help? is this someone she would have wanted help from or is this someone she hasn't even met yet.
