Story: Chanyeol isn't the brightest bulb in the box or the sharpest tool in the shed but his heart is pure gold. There wasn't much that he felt he could do since his grades were always just barely getting him by, even though he was trying his hardest. Being a natural klutz didn't help, and bullies didn't help either, as he found himself with a number of injuries that would sometimes take him out of school for days at a time. There were a few times when he had to stay out of school for a week or two. He tried taking college entrance exams and never quite seemed to score enough to get in, no matter how many times he tried. He worked a number of odd jobs and small jobs to make ends meet, doing his best to just not have his family worry about him, not telling them that he was struggling even though he was. While working at a convenience store, he was saved from a robber by a police officer and it made him consider trying that field. It took a lot for him to pass the exam but he managed it on the second try. What surprised him and his family is that he managed to graduate from KNPU on the first go. It took a lot of hard work, tireless nights, and borderline failing out of a lot, but he got through which only made him feel like he'd really made the right decision.

He currently works in a really small station where there are only 8 officers, where there are two younger than him while everyone else is much older than him, yet he's the newest to the force. He'd gotten made fun of a lot by his fellow officers when he first joined but, now that he's in his second year, they are much more doting toward him because they're aware he's a good person that genuinely tries his best. He's the one that gets assigned for more of the "undercover" missions and stakeouts, though they don't get many of them. He feels it just means that he's a master of disguise. They just like how happy he is when he gets to wear a new costume. He's constantly reminded to wear gloves since he often hurts his hands when he doesn't. There are a lot of bandages and wraps on his hands on any given day, whether he hurt himself at work, at home, or on his way to or from work. He has a lot of kid bandaids that he wears, which he keeps around because he watches his niece and nephew whenever he can. Also, just because he finds the bandaids really cute and they make him happy.

He knows about the club because one of the friends he made at KNPU had a birthday party at the club and one of his current coworkers did as well.
