one thing about kokonoi — he doesn't let his past define him. really, not anymore, not this lifetime, anyways. regardless of that, he still thinks all he's good for is his brain, and that there's nothing else to make up for the bossy personality he gained thanks to kisaki tetta, having been that man's voice of reason and even his mirror. even so, at least he's content in his adulthood, — "happy" isn't quite the word, it tastes weird on his tongue — living his life as his honest self.
