In the past. Riko was considerably at his peak of highschool as a senior. For some, this could’ve meant acing through with a booming social life or the perfect grades— but while he was only getting by these aspects of life with the skin of his teeth, what only truly mattered at the time was WISC, Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing.

What had started off as an attempted revival of the school’s music club eventually turned into a full-on passion project rock band for the boy, and it would be everything for him. Until death do as part, as some would say in terms of commitment; that is before it all became far too much of a reality for him. A horrid sudden encounter in a car crash sending the boy into a coma for several years, where he would be transferred from Japan and remain under surveillance in the United States where most of his family resided.

In the present. Having woken up with almost little to no recollection of his former years of glory, he’s diligently slaved through hoards of therapy to really get back to his feet. And so, Riko, or Reap.r as some may now known him by, continues his stride with a music filled lifestyle as the official drummer under a new band, DOX. But what still remains deeply rooted within is an unnerving sense of emptiness that looms about and irks him to no end of the years he has missed, even more so what he feels he has yet to truly uncover for himself.

  To be fairly put, he is an enigma of sorts. On the surface he remains on the fairly intimidating side; strong, firm gazes doing most of the talking and mostly choosing to keep to himself as he takes the day as it comes. Through numerous layers within, however, lies a vessel of impending energy waiting to erupt like magma built partially on the root of a partially angsty upbringing. All in all, it simply depends on how one truly takes him as. Luck playing a full part of said insight, for he could easily draw the line between being your worst enemy or your bestest friend without so much as a second given thought.

Trivia.

He was to take on the last name of 'Kang', but because his father had walked out on his mother while she was still pregnant with him, he essentially adopted the last name of his Japanese step-father whom she had come to meet later on instead, alongside other aspects that helped him further embrace the Japanese culture as his own.

His stagename 'Reap.r' was coined during his days in highschool, originally as an inside joke for his dynamic performance style where he would seemingly rip drums to shreds as if he were tearing the living life out of each set. He's partially grown out of the name as his musicality has developed, but nonetheless, still allows it to stick.

Because of his usually loud and aggressive playing style, he has become accustomed to using promuco drumsticks as his signature go-tos because of their heavy weight which are usually able to last him through a couple of performances before he needs some replacements again. 

Before You Approach Me

Important. Please try to have something in mind and read my profile before actually talking to me about roleplaying. If you'd like, feel free to send me a random starter! The more unique or out of the box, the better.

Mun's timezone is GMT +8 with a sporadic sleep schedule, so you will easily catch me on and off. I'd like to think I'm relatively chill, so don't hesitate to approach me for anything.

Writing style. I do script and para, whilst being fairly flexible with povs. Lengthwise, I try my best to adjust and mirror with whatever my writing partner is most comfortable with.

Plotting style. I prefer mostly plotting over winging, but do not mind both. My favourite genres can fluctuate from a variety of themes depending on my mood and the dynamic of characters but overall, I'm chill with most topics and I do like meshing ideas together whilst letting there be enough room for the plot to flow.

Should you be curious, however, my favourite genres tend to gravitate more towards slice of life, angst and drama. I'm capable of diving into NSFW themes as I am of age, although may only be included so long as it contributes to character development and/or the plot itself. Anything otherwise may easily burn me out.

I'm also fine with writing starters and will do so most times if I have enough of base to work with and if it makes sense for me to do it.

I would appreciate it if you do not poke me. I'm able to keep track of most, if not, all threads I've got and will most likely get to them in an adequate amount of time (rarely later than 4-5 days) because I'd genuinely want to push out quality replies, especially if my muse is on the rise. Communication is key, so please do feel free to tell me whether you'd like to add to the plot, start another one or simply drop a thread.

Location preferences. Honestly speaking, I tend to go and roleplay anywhere I can. I like using rooms for the most part just for the sake of keeping up with activity, walls when I'm busy, and I'm okay with PMs as well. Most plots I do are public friendly too with or without trigger warnings included, and when they aren't, I take them to PMs.
