Eunhwi was your typical kid and teenager. Very passionate about his interests, not as much about school, and hence doing just enough to get by unless it had anything to do with music.

His dream had never been solely to become a 'musician' or 'share his art with the world'. He wanted to be acknowledged, to get people's eyes on him. He likes attention and likes getting complimented. It is also not exactly for the 'fame' itself, but more so to actually perform on a stage in front of thousands of people. Have them recognize his talent.

Due to his passion, he grew up to be quite ambitious and determined. He will do anything in his reach not only to get what he wants but also to protect his friends and family. He won't let people stand in front of his dream, stop him or drag him down, and likewise, he will lift up those who help him achieve it.

Doesn't enjoy people minding into his business. If he wants to talk about something, he will come to you first. Don't push him to do something he doesn't want to, face things he doesn't want to, or talk about things he doesn't want to. He will often avoid his own problems and issues if he doesn't want to deal with them, and he won't appreciate you trying to help him through them. For most things, he likes solving them on his own. He is an individualist as much as he is a perfectionist. In the same way, if he notices something wrong he will ask only once and accept it if you don't want to talk, the only exception being if the matter is obviously serious, in which he will push it to force a response.

He is usually a pacifist, but can also easily snap if you push the wrong buttons.

Eunhwi has been into music for as long as he can remember. It started with those 'kid concerts' he'd perform for his family in the middle of their living room, and soon evolved into guitar and bass lessons, which he used to work on his covers as well as his own personal creations.

Hwi was born in South Korea, but while he was still young his parents divorced, his mother taking full custody of him and his sisters and his father just disappearing from their lives after that. They ended up moving to Japan when his mother's work position got relocated, with an offer for a raise in case she accepted the change. He grew up in Tokyo becoming fluent in both Korean and Japanese and picking up a bit of English mostly from music and tv shows which was later improved when he joined DOX in LA.

During his last year of high school (2015), he joined his first serious music project in the form of a band named WISC (Wolves In Sheep's Clothing) founded by Reece. A four-man pop-rock group in which he was the frontman, vocalist, and guitarist. He took up the stage name 'Tomo', a nickname meaning 'friend' that he'd been given by his playmates when he first came to Japan and had been using as his 'japanese name' ever since.

The band went on for nearly three full years, getting quite popular during their last year together, even earning them a few paid gigs. Eunhwi wanted to make it more serious and dedicate himself fully to the project as he wrapped up his studies in Music Production, but he soon came to notice they all had different plans, not only for the future but also for the band itself. In his eyes, Reece was the only one taking it seriously and still, their ideals parted in terms of music and style. Knowing fully well that they wouldn't get far unless they dropped everything to work on the group and really got onto the same page, Hwi became frustrated and decided to quit the band, taking his own self-written songs and deciding to try a different approach. Although it might not be considered 'easy', it definitely got him more exposure, and in his eyes, it was certainly easier than a pop-rock band with no company or agency to back them up and no money or time to invest in it. Plus, he believed that with his focus and ambition, he would definitely make it. He was willing to do whatever it took to make it and he knew he had the talent and personality for it. Except maybe the dancing skill, but that he would figure out once he got there.

Before even having a set-out plan, he packed his bags and boarded the plane, following the sign-up announcement he'd seen for a survival show. It started out well for him, earning him some attention and compliments for his voice and personality, as well as the creative ways he'd change up the songs with his guitar, but when his dancing and performing skills were lacking in comparison to all the other trainees he was bound to get eliminated. Still, it turned out not to be too much of a waste, as his appearance managed to get the attention of Sunrise Entertainment, which ended up scouting him immediately after. When asked whether he'd be okay to move to Los Angeles to join DOX as their bassist, Tomo wasted no time in packing his bags once again, ready to really focus back on the instruments, and hoping this time his bandmates were as serious about it as he was. Although not a lot of people know about it, Tomo is a recovering addict. It started out around his last year of highschool as their band picked up popularity between teens and students, and they got invited to play at parties and events, including getting invited to college parties thanks to common friends. It was through these parties that he began trying it out and what started as an occasional type of thing soon turned into long weekends spent at a friend's basement under the pretense of band practice. He didn't think much of it at first, always thinking it was common behavior for rock bands, there were heavier drugs he could be using, or that he didn't even do it that often, but as he got involved with other users and his teenage angst hit top form, it slowly got too natural for him.

Being raised by a mother who allowed them their freedom and trusted their sense of responsibility, Tomo was allowed to go out and enjoy his nights with friends, and even when he'd get home stumbling a little, nothing would be said as it wasn't bad or often enough to be worrying. Because of this, it was rather easy for him to keep his use lowkey even as it started becoming more and more frequent, and so it was only around a year and a half later, when he got home late into the night and in a terrible state after mixing heroin and alcohol for the first time that things began turning for the worse.

He'd completely forgotten and missed his baby sister's birthday and his older sister had stayed up, waiting for him to get home from 'band practice', to scold him for it. She'd heard him arrive and gotten out of her room only to find him throwing his guts up in their shared bathroom, pale and covered in sweat. At first, she thought he'd just overdone it with the drinking this time, but as she helped him to bed and out of his jacket and jeans, she noticed the bruised area on his forearm along with the small bit of dried blood, finally shedding some light on the real reason he'd been disappearing more regularly and for longer periods of time.

Of course, their mother was informed and they tried talking to him about it but again, he dismissed them both as being dramatic and made excuses as to why it still wasn't an addiction. The tension within their small family grew as he tried to avoid the two older women as best he could, conversations turning into heated fights whenever they did talk and ending with him leaving the house for a couple of days which only led to more tension. The vicious cycle continued for a couple of months, as the band slowly started to break apart as well, and the older women tried doing everything they could for him while nothing seemed to reach him. That was, except for the one aimed blow that his big sister managed to land with the simple question "I wonder what Mihyeong will think when she learns her adored older brother is a junkie?" 

Ever since their father left, Eunhwi had always wanted to be his little sister's hero. A father figure for her. So the mention of the little girl's expectations for him was what brought him back home. He wanted her to have a good image of him, to be a role model for her but here he was. He agreed to go to counseling but chose to go through his withdrawal at home with his sister offering to freeze her semester so she could stay with him. Things did not go entirely smoothly, but his mother and sister were patient with him and helped him through, and although he continued to party and drink often, he did his best to push away any other substances, turning to cigarettes as a distraction. He had been clean for only a few months when he moved to S.Korea and managed to remain clean throughout the survival show with the goal of not ruining his own career knowing how strict the Korean entertainment was regarding such things. Joining DOX was as much of a blessing as it was a curse, setting him back on the environment that had him using in the first place and having him surrounded by the rock and metal scene, while at the same time, it gifted him a new family that offered him comfort and a good environment.

Now away from his little sister and with no contact that will give it away, it becomes a little harder to resist and he will still falter at times. It happens especially at parties and celebrations or when under a lot of stress. Close friends are aware of his pill use, but heroin was always kept a secret. Has track marks on his arms but keeps them covered through clothing, tattoos and/or makeup.

I tend to be 'slow' taking up to 3 or 4 days to reply most of the time but I can reply faster or slower depending on how busy my days are. I'm currently studying and have a some 'heavy' classes so there's that, as soon as exam season is up I might as well disappear for a month or so. the two of you met in seoul after he moved here to try out for auditions and/or join the survival show. you could be someone he met on the show, or maybe you met outside. after getting to know each other for a while, the two of you got into a relationship. it lasted for a while before something went wrong leading to a breakup.
(meant to make it a little angsty for the past regarding their reason for breakup but we can always have it breakup when he is scouted by sunrise and moves to LA, but details about it can be discussed in pms)

ever since eunhwi joined sunrise/the survival show, he'd be working on his songs by himself. one of his favorite things to do was to grab songs and play them on his electric guitar. by bumping into you often in the studios, the two of you started getting close and working on songs together. sometimes, eunhwi would take your songs, pick up his guitar and make 'band versions' of your pop instrumentals while you would take his and do your own versions of them.
overall, the two of you are producing buddies. he will also often go to you to learn more about producing and get tips for his own music.

being a closeted biual, eunhwi barely acknowledged this to himself and would rather ask his company to set up a fake dating scandal than to have rumors about his uality. it is just something he does not wish to accept for himself and as long as he is into girls he doesn't even need to recognize any interest in guys. because of this, he always shuts this side of his brain off and never had any experience with guys. that is, except for that one party where he got slightly drunk and ended up hooking up with this one guy. he didn't share any contact information with this person, not even names and he definitely hopes the guy was a bit too drunk to remember his face. as years passed by, he got confident the other didn't remember him, and eventually, he forgot about the situation, but now here you are to remind him and leave him to wonder whether you remember or told anyone about it. he is now more chill about it, but still prefers to keep it on the downlow.

haven't thought too much into this one, but something happened within the group. there's tension between two or more membres, could be hwi and you, you and someone else, or hwi and someone else and one of them just snaps at the wrong time, leading to a fight in the waiting room for their comeback stage.
(*this could easily be turned into a group plot too with more dox members, also instead of being too heavy and dramatic we can turn it into a funny petty fight or something of the sort)

5. hair dye - chill, friendly - anyone OPEN
Tomo was very bored during his days off. He'd tried everything by now, from livestreams to working on new songs to gaming and all of his other hobbies but there was a limit to how long something could entertain him. Out of his boredom his impulsive nature took over and he decided, why not try dyeing his hair? Knowing you were experienced with hair dye, he texts you to come over and gives you full permission for the makeover. Alternatively, you two are friends and just as impulsive as the other, so even with no experience, he trusts you to handle his hair.
