For as long as I could remember, I perennially found myself reiterating one question my father would ask me repeatedly with a grin—purging my curiosity with living my life to the fullest and exploring the world as much as I could. Due to my father working in the navy, there was never a set home for myself or my parents to reside in—along with friends, family members, and even relationships I would acquire over time. I held a soft spot for the place I was born in, Korea, visiting there whenever I was given the opportunity the older I became.

Although I did not necessarily have a hard life growing up, I was a victim of neglect due to how busy my parents were—and would often act out in school or create scandalous activities in my neighborhood just to get a reaction out of my parents. It was silly, wasn’t it? I yearned so desperately for my parent’s attention, be it good or bad, that I would have done anything to have it. When I finally turned 18, I went to college like any other teen my age would do— but my heart led me to embark on my love in music. At the time, I discovered myself catering to a band I created with friends that were only temporary to me at that moment, due to my constant lifestyle of being on the road.

A few heartbreaks later, here I am owning my own music shop and pouring my emotions into the lessons I give. I hope to give people the listening ear I once needed, growing up, with music being our sole way of communicating.
